do it, are you already full y? its easier than youd expect
Yeah I switched to full y for sub 15, and y2 for sub 20. I might just switch these couple of days.
good luck, i've probably said i would switch 3-4 times but always end up giving up, saying i will do it later.
you know what, i'm going to practice x2 again.
wow i give up i see why.... 18.20 ao 50...
11.12 average of 25. i think i'll do an average of 50 a day for this week then see what progress i have. hopefully i can get sub 10.5 by then.
thats actually quite good. Only like 2 seconds slower.
for me, those two seconds come from f2b, cmll and lse is about the same speed.
Every time I try to transition, I get like 3 move white crosses every time. So I switch back, and then theyre ~6 again.
I got a 15.07 average of 5 using 4 different colors.
Is there anyone out there who feels they are color neutral, but prefers to stick to one color for timed solves (for best recognition, inspection time ,etc.)?
Best recognition, noIs there anyone out there who feels they are color neutral, but prefers to stick to one color for timed solves (for best recognition, inspection time ,etc.)?
If you stick to one color in order to have better recognition, you are by definition not color neutral. So no, there is nobody out there who is color neutral but sticks to one color. Not only does the act of sticking to one color constitute a color bias, but you would improve more at the color you were sticking to than you would with the others, meaning that you would become better at that color than others even if you weren't already. Anyone who sticks to one color does not fit the definition of CN, for more than one reason. Is there anyone out there who feels they are color neutral, but prefers to stick to one color for timed solves (for best recognition, inspection time ,etc.)?
Doing F2L-only solves on the colors you're worst at, as well as solves with slow turning, both might help a little. I think it mostly does just come down to practice, though.as the thread title says is there any help to get better at being color neutral? of course theres practice and youll get it. but is there a method to get it down? instead of just jumping right in and going in see that there that looks good and GO!! lol i would like it if anyone has any tips on becoming color nuetral that would be great
FTFYI just finished the method for being CN, and I ended up with that, the earlier you do it, the easier. One month ago I was averaging like 30-32 with white, and as I started color neutral, I've broken all of my pbs. I'm working on being sub 20 CN, my personal best was 14.90 with CN. If you start before you get sub 20 (which is one of the most difficult stages to break because of look ahead), it will be easier, because you'll learn look ahead in CN. You'll get faster at the same time you're learning color neutrality, so I think it was a complete success for me.![]()
