I agree... Gilles' site does get you rouxing quickly. Although it does take some thought to get started... Which imo is better. I know I just contradicted myself... but yeah I wouldn't have spent those confused hours trying to find out how to do the first block and stuff...
And Waffle gives you some humor, as well as videos. His Rouxtorials LoL
Absolutely. Too many people are giving up too easily and taking the easy way out.
I guess the awesomeness of roux is not discovered until you get to the stage where you can actually solve it without any trouble if you know what i mean.
Yeah, Until I couldn't solve it I was like roux=blegh, but now roux=awesum!

Nope....
For alot of reasons
1. your a bit of a Nouxb
2. you completely shoot down other methods that are perfectly good, fast and accepted in our community
3. you want people to switch to roux but you dont want it to become big (you like it being the minority)
4. you ride your storebought and methods D*CK way to hard.

Keep in mind I use roux and love it. But I don't diss other methods.
And I think your a very great solver(im at 25sec)...but your personality over the interwebs is annoying.

No offense, but you and George have been post-whoring like crazy this week...
yes, but there is nothing wrong with it as long as your posts are useful, and 90%+ of mine have been
not including the ones in off topic

they are 2 of the same...?
but i do agree, shooting down methods is kinda bad
although i hate methods, i don't shout it out loud, you would have to scroll to the bottom of my youtube page to find it...

No.1 Is an opinion.
No.2 Is true to an extent, sadly. I admit. I'll stop.
No.3 Is an opinion.
No.4 Is an exaggeration. I've stopped all mention of the storebought anyway.

Nope....
1. A bit of an opinion, but according to Waffles 'definition' of a Nouxb...you fit it.
2. Thank You!
3. Not really an opinion. You always say things like "Yay another Roux user!" and you encourage people using it but you can be quoted as saying you like being in the minority and there are drawbacks to having people all in the same method....whats the drawbacks? Many peoples opinions? New variations? Different perspectives?
4. Yea abit of an exageration..and maybe a bit far but its true to an extent

1: Bleh, it's an opinion. And it has no relevance anyway.
2: Not too late to own up and stuff right?
3: Crazy mood, contradicting myself. I usually do the former; the latter was blurting out random stuff i.e. just saying my thoughts at the actual time. One off. Hope you forgive me.
4 Glad you're not one of the stubborn ones.

@Andreas
Btw you're switching to roux!? Great!
Well I fear I might be switching in the same way that i switched to Petrus, then CFOP, back to Petrus. Tried Heise, did some Roux, back to Petrus, experimented with ZZ, back to Roux. Decided I would stay with Roux, but am now pretty intrigued by ZZ. ZZOMG!

Id recommend playing arouxnd with your three methods (incidentally the same three I use), and when one emerges as your favourite, go and put more attention into it...

similar to me =P
cfop, cf, roux, petrus, roux, cfop, roux, l2l4, roux, petrus, roux, l2lk... and the list goes on =P
but for now its likely to be, Roux as my main, and learn L2LK as a side project and future main method

Well I think Roux is better in theory, but ZZ is easier in practice. I did some solves earlier today with EOLine and 1st block already solved and it was something like: 25 sec. ZZ. 27 sec. Roux.

Likewise, i still use cfop on big cubes... its just easier, but i prefer blocks on 3x3
Fridrich pb is 13 seconds... but that was a fluke,
I averaged about 24 at the time... ive been sub 20 but then i canned it for l2lk
Im now about the same with cf, roux and cfop
