I'll start with some background knowledge:
My main method is white cross on bottom, intuitive F2L, 2-look OLL and full PLL. With these, my personal best (no skips) is 30.56 and I average mid 30-ish.
Here comes the problem:
I've always been attracted to the Petrus method and blockbuilding, but chose CFOP because it was an easy transition from LBL. A couple of days ago I started training color-neutral Petrus and found it to be a lot of fun. I quickly improved but can't seem to get sub-1 min., haven't timed myself yet, but I think my best times are just sub-2 min. maybe better.
Now when I did CFOP again the speed and lookahead felt amazing. I really want to use color-neutral Petrus (sounds way cooler aswell) but I can't seem to find the motivation. It doesn't help that it takes me forever to find the pieces.
What do you think? Is it worth training Petrus, which I like more, or should I just stay with CFOP and train OH or BLD? If I do switch to Petrus would you recommend learning COLL to use with Roux or just enjoy 28 alg. 2LLL?
