I use Petrus, and I have noticed nobody is really using it anymore. I, along with a couple of other people, am like the solitary Petrus user on this forum which is still active. The majority of users seem to be CFOP, Roux, or ZZ :(. So there isn't much discussion on how to improve on specific...
8.913, 11.194, 9.539, 10.786, 9.085, (12.931), 8.888, 8.793, 9.677, 10.500, (8.341), 10.479 = 9.785 avg12 (9.119 avg5)
Finally finished what I started! Sub 10 avg12 with CFOP, Roux, ZZ and Petrus!
My first sub 10 average of 12 with each method:
CFOP 9.85 avg12
Roux 9.82 avg12
8.37, 11.27, 9.48, (8.12), (11.37) = 9.71 avg5
A bit lucky :P
It was already a 9.71 avg5 after the 8.12, but I managed to roll a 12.73 with the 11.37 so I included that solve instead.
Cube: aolong v2
YTUWRs with petrus, I think (7/10/2015).
9.74, 10.56, 10.56, 11.20, 10.01, 11.31, 13.34, (14.76), 10.47, 10.63, 13.07, (9.58) = 11.09
The 11.09 is my PB avg12. My avg5 PB is 9.90
First 5 are the 10.38 avg5.
Long time ago my solving method was CFOP, but I transitioned to a ZZ-like method, which starts with EOCross. Now I see many opinions that EOLine with blockbuilding is much better than EOCross with slots. But I see some drawbacks of those supposedly better steps:
I don't know what edge...
I'll start with some background knowledge:
My main method is white cross on bottom, intuitive F2L, 2-look OLL and full PLL. With these, my personal best (no skips) is 30.56 and I average mid 30-ish.
Here comes the problem:
I've always been attracted to the Petrus method and blockbuilding...
