To my knowledge, there are two main reasons that you can get catching on big even cubes: either the tensions are too loose (so the screw heads are too high up and scrape against the plastic) or the alignment mechanism in the core is not aligned correctly.

If you back off the tensions and spread the pieces in the middle layers apart, you might be able to see a little nub under one of the inner centre pieces; these nubs hold the core to one half of the puzzle when you do a 3Uw/3Rw/3Fw move, and so all the nubs have to be pointing to the same corner for the layers to turn properly. If you notice one of the nubs pointing in a weird direction (or worse, multiple nubs pointing in weird directions), disassemble the affected face(s) and reassemble the centre stalk(s) properly. (This should never happen, as the centre stalks are asymmetrical, but if it does, you'll probably have to get replacement parts.)

Yet another possibility is that there's an extra internal piece on the inside that shouldn't be there, or one of the internal pieces that should be there is not in its usual position.
I think this is the problem since it is only when I turn it like a 2x2. It's a little unclear to me, can you please explain more?

i have dissembled my Gan 249 v2 M (it is the stickered version but i don't think it matters) and i accidently took apart the main peice as well. when i was putting it back to gather noticed that there were 3 differently shaped eternal pieces (they had a sort of hook on them) and 3 centers that holes in them-they fitted into the holes quite nicely.. i thought that they were the pieces for the main corner peice so i put the different edges in the gap in the centers they fitted very nicely but i did find it difficult to get the corner in place i managed (somehow) i then went on to assemble no problem until the it was finished. this is when i found out the those different edges had a locking mechanism that made the cube impossible so turn so i disassembled the cube again and put it into a plastic bag. dose anyone know how to assemble it properly (keep in mind that i have the main corner piece out as well) as it is my backup main 2x2. I have already looked on YouTube but i can not find anything about but if you know a good video can you please tell me about it. thank you.

Not really sure what you mean, pictures would help.
Make sure to keep searching on YT, some other 2x2s may have the same mechanism. I have an MGC and it has a similar kind of mechanism, but I haven’t assembled it in a few months

unassembled the cube to see if the core is aligned or not
looks aligned to me... Is it?

I did as @xyzzy said, and now the cube can turn!
there is still some slight catching that I can feel so I will contact the cubicle again and let you guys know what they say
Thanks to all!
