I have it, it is too big, has frosted plastic, is really heavy, and the magnets are too weak. Not a great cube imo.
Same. My neighbor got me one for my birthday last year claiming it would be a "real challenge" then I brought out my 8x8 and you've never seen someone so amazed. Then I used my GTS2M 4x4 to actually do something fast.

Thanks for letting me know! I will still have to try it myself. I tend to like heavier cubes though. I still main the Huanglong for my 7x7 (self magged) and to me it is heavy.

Update: I just got the RS4M today and I love it!

I just recently unboxed my MGC 6x6 to find that something was catching with 2/3 axis. Never taken a 6x6 apart. Pls help.
See the Video link below:
I suggest z3cubing's video of assembling 4x4 to 7x7 (link below)
https://youtu.be/cJmnIIAhZmc
The link should send you to 25:15 of that video, where he starts to assemble the 6x6.

Hope it helps!

To my knowledge, there are two main reasons that you can get catching on big even cubes: either the tensions are too loose (so the screw heads are too high up and scrape against the plastic) or the alignment mechanism in the core is not aligned correctly.

If you back off the tensions and spread the pieces in the middle layers apart, you might be able to see a little nub under one of the inner centre pieces; these nubs hold the core to one half of the puzzle when you do a 3Uw/3Rw/3Fw move, and so all the nubs have to be pointing to the same corner for the layers to turn properly. If you notice one of the nubs pointing in a weird direction (or worse, multiple nubs pointing in weird directions), disassemble the affected face(s) and reassemble the centre stalk(s) properly. (This should never happen, as the centre stalks are asymmetrical, but if it does, you'll probably have to get replacement parts.)

Yet another possibility is that there's an extra internal piece on the inside that shouldn't be there, or one of the internal pieces that should be there is not in its usual position.

most of my weird cube catching is due to small internal piece being out of place and not a core misalignment (which should be very difficult in modern designs?)

remove the other edge peice and put that internal peice in the slot in the slot between the 2 center peices. Then gently push in the edge peices and the edge bracket. Might wanna loosen a side of the edge is still not going in.
