My stickerless Gan XS feels a lot worse than my stickered Gan XS and I'm wondering if it's defective because even at a looser setting it just doesn't cornercut well and feels way more stiff than the stickered version.

If it's not defective, I guess it's just a design difference.
Isn't that a known problem?

I've magnetized a ylm 6x6 with 3*2 n35 in inners, 4*2 n35 in middle and mixing 4*2 and 4*1.5 n35 in outers. It is sluggish and catchy even after I have lubed and tensioned it. Turning feels heavy and make my hands tired after a solve. How to make it faster and less catchy? Or should I just get another 6x6 instead?

I'm not a pro at customizing/magnetizing cubes, but I'd say the magnets are probably way too strong

Hey guys. One side of my gan 356xs sounds like it's rubbing up against the other side. It sorta sounds scratchy and feels a little different to turn. It doesn't affect my times but it just feels different. Any ideas what this is? I lubed it but it didn't help.
Thanks.

Did you lube the core of your cube? I had a similar problem, and lubing the core with some silicon lube seemed to work.

No I haven't done that, all I have it water based lube and I heard you're not meant to lube cores with that

Oh ok, I think that might be the solution in your case... What lube do you use in your cube?

That's what you get for buying a GAN cube.
Cyoubx made a video highlighting the inconsistencies of GAN's production lines

Postive. I haven't made any adjustments got he cube what so ever. I loved the feel of if out of the box and haven't changed a thing.
Disassemble the entire puzzle, then compare the pieces and if there is a defect, you can either fix it yourself, 3D print a new piece, or get a replacement part from GAN or whoever you bought the cube from.

I have a new X-Man Volt V2 M (Square-1) and I'm finding that even after lubing it and breaking it in, the top and bottom layers are much tighter than the slicing action. If I loosen the only bolt I can find (under the long green center piece) in order to give some tension relief to the top and bottom layers, the slicing action becomes ridiculously loose/fast.

Is this a normal aspect of the Square-1's design? If so, how do folks deal with this? What is the recommended way to get even tension between all the layers?

Same with YLM. Also, the sqaun only uses one screw.

So my main is the YueXiao Edm and I've been having a problem. I have to clean my cube literally everyday because every time a clean my cube white dust or something like that gets in my cube immediately after my first turns after cleaning it. It slows down my cube so badly and affects corner cutting horrendously. Anyone know how to fix this?
