not bad, i'm just going to look at second block since it seems long.

R2 U' R' U R' U M U2 M' U2 R' U R M' R U' r' U2 r U r'// sb

your first square you're doing a whole bunch of fancy mumbo jumbo to set up a good pair, but doesn't really turn out that well. in a speed solve, especially if you don't see all the pieces right away, just do U' R2 solving DR. You can also influence next pair with U' R U' R U' R' U' R. also, from the beginning, the other pair is one move away from pairing by doing U.

later you have M' R, never do that, just do r.

FB doesn't seem to work?

awesome!

My best average from yesterday, for those interested:

Nice to join the club of official sub 10 Rouxers!

Congratulations!!! Nice to see again that Roux can be world-class fast (even though I'm a fopper... and only a mediocre one).

By the way, your previous official PB average must be some kind of World Record for the smallest standard deviation in an official Ao5:

Avg [ 10.12, (10.99), 10.09, (8.43), 10.09 ] = 10.10

Stdev = 0.02. Anybody can beat that? :)

Hey, around what time should I start to learn full CMLL? I started cubing 1 month ago and with Roux 2 weeks ago, and my avg is around 40 secs.

Not sure if I should spend time learning full CMLL when my efficiency and look-ahead is really bad.

(Also, my first post, yay).

I think that it's best to learn full algs sets as early as possible. That said, learning it when you're ~20-22 seconds is a good way to break through the 20 second barrier which many people seem to be stuck at. So I would say for now to work on blocks, efficiency and lookahead (and come up with any LSE/block tricks of your own).

TL;DR: just before sub-20 to help break the barrier.

Also, welcome to the forums! :) Hope you have a great time here!

did you watch episode 7? ;-;
anyway, welcome to the Forums and the Roux dark side! :D
Learn CMLL around 25 or lower to practise efficiency.
You can actually learn it whenever you want haha.

Heh, thats kinda what I had in mind, thank you! And I know this must have been asked a million times already, but do you have any tips for blockbuilding? Right now, the only way I make pairs is by putting the edge piece in the DF, and the corner in the U layer and then matching them up.

OBVIOUSLY I WATCHED IT. That scene where everyone is yelling at Saitama :(.
The episode was not that good tho

And yeah, I'll probably learn it at that time.
