I had one but I personally didn't like it, the cube was very wobbly and flimsy and it had catching problems, but if you have plans to get one of those I'd just rather go with a tanglong which is much better in my opinion

I have a Gans 357 as my main and I absolutely love it. It's pretty much frictionless and there's no catching even though I haven't used lube on it in months. It has definately been broken in a lot tho. I also added weights in all pieces so that may help as well.

The only reason people may not like it is because it feels fairly unstable but dealing with that is a matter of trust and accurate turning

I was the same way about my 357, but I guess I just sorta 'grew out of it', I just don't have as much pleasure using it as much as my jieyun, my 357 has like 6 months of breaking in

fangshi jieyun has godly M slices
I'm glad to be reading this a few hours after ordering one :)

Anybody have a Aolong? How is it for roux?
I use one sometimes, but since my main was a mini ShuangRen, the M slices feel so small. I do use a 54.5mm cube though, so if you're using 57mm that won't be a problem. I like the speed but the corner twists are awful - however I've heard the v2/GT have fixed that.

It's my main, I have it lubed with really runny silicone oil and the M slices and overall turning are pretty great!

P.S.: I have a v2, not a v1 [emoji14]
