Yep, and if you're confused over the word intuitive, a synonym for that word is basically 'practice'. Just keep solving. You'll get better at it as you go

So just practice and when a case pops up I will refer to a sheet or something to use the algorithm and I will get it eventually?

Like most things in cubing, practice is generally the answer.
I wouldn't get hung up on whether algorithmic or intuitive is best to learn, however. Everyone's different, and over the long term algorithmic and intuitive converge anyway.

What would be the best way to go about learning full ZBLL? I know how to recognize them, how should I go about learning the algs, and matching the case to the alg?

1) look for cool little finger tricks and patterns that you can easily memorize.
2) track f2l pairs as you execute the algs, this can sometimes create some cool paths that are unique and easy to follow.
3) don't overwhelm yourself, learn as many as you can at one time, but not too many that you don't remember any of them
4) have fun with it. Don't let it be a nuisance

I have one maybe two more algorithms to learn for the 3x3 before I move onto attempting F2L but the algorithms are long compared to the other algorithms I've managed to memorize. Does anyone have a way of memorizing an algorithm? What works best for you?

I usually remember a few moves at a time like i might learn R F R L then move on to R2 F l Y' until i finish learning the alg.

Do it 20 times in a row, and your brain will break it up into patterns automatically.

Make words with it. Like in2x2 there is an alg that is: R' U R' D2 R U' R' D2 R2 B'. So what I said was roar D roar Dr. B it's an acronym
