Upcoming 3x3s

Haitun Cube (Dolphin cube) is the brand.
I think it's called the Waverider V1, but I've seen another post on reddit call it the ZhanLang V1.
Ok, that matches it up now, my supplier was calling it the Haitun Waverider v1, apparently it will come in standard and flagship versions initially and later a pioneer version (copying qiyis naming!)

Looks like Tornado knockoff (box included, both outside and inside). Hope it performs better...
There are actually a number of brand new design features, different thickness in the plastic of the pieces, based on strength requirement, those 3 tiny magnets at the base of each corner piece that are said to make the magnetic effect less bumpy, and some intriguing design of how the magnets inside the pieces are positioned. However, it remains to be seen how well these new features function.

Wait for the special edition "watch" cube holder and wrist straps, in 6 colours and with tiny LEDs that flash also in 6 different colours. 😉. The watch has a USB port to charge the battery.

If someone has WRM V9 and the expensive super weilong, can you confirm whether the 20 magnets WRM V9 is simply the WRM fitted with super weilong's core?
I suspect MoYu simply gutted the not-so-easy-to-sell super for the 20 magnets core, to fit their overstocked WRM V9 pieces.

I suspect you worry too much. These are made of plastic, the initial cost is high, but the manufacturing is not. They wont worry too much on their existing stock.
It might be hard for many to imagine, but opening up everything and take out the core for other product, usually cost more than you can salvage.

There will be 3 versions of the Haitun Waverider V1. The Standard and the Flagship versions are already on the Pre-order page on The Cubicle and also on SpeedCubeShop. The top version will be the "Pioneer" version and it will have Maglev, based on what I heard. Sounds like QiYi Tornado version names.

Have a look at how it corner cuts:

Waverider (no ballcore) is now available on Aliexpress. Around the price of YS3M BC (local price)

56mm. 🤷 Unfortunately I may still have to buy it this time, even though I normally avoid 56mm no matter how good it is, because this Haitun seems to have something really new. Intriguing. 😃 I may wait until the Pioneer version is available first. I hope it is slower like the Guhong, when compared to the Spring version.

There was a time that 57mm was the standard and I still have some of them, including my Moyu Aolong V2.
