I can understand the fatique some people have with all the Moyu 3x3 releases.

I however do appreciate this thread. Thanks to One Wheel, now I can just watch posts about 3x3, which is all I can handle and care.

I wish there is also a thread created specifically for smartcubes. Is there?

I think it would make more sense to me if there’s another thread for non-WCA puzzles but not just 3x3 (like WCA puzzles are usually released in series, like YS2M-YS6M)

The only point for this thread is to make those bunch of moyu 3x3 releases in 2023 feeling more ironic. I just don’t think any cubers would be interested in only 3x3 but not any other WCA puzzles. However, I do believe that some are more into non-WCA puzzles (like me who can solve a tuttminx without any form of tutorials), where WCA puzzles are supposed to be made for everyone.

As one of the major sources of upcoming puzzle releases, I will just post upcoming 3x3s on the main thread as I usually do, and feel free to repost here if you find it meaningful.

I am a 3x3 only guy despite having bigger cubes up to 7x7 (before I left the scene).
If I can weed through pages of non-interesting subjects, I can't see why we can't do the same for 3x3. Still, each to his own...

I prefer the other thread - blame it on my curiosity on puzzle innovations. Also, I wouldn't want to miss the often irritating but ridiculous forum fights . Better than the batch of the recent boring movies (mission impossible 7 excepted)

Meanwhile, Qiyi's 2x2 (Flare) and 4x4 (Ambition) are terrible, they don't have a good 6x6, and their 7x7 has been surpassed by YJ and Moyu. They discontinued their good 5x5. And nobody uses their Megas or sq1 anymore.

Their clock is the best. Lots of people like their 3x3. Some people still use their pyra. Annnnnd, that's it.

I prefer their big cubes to the Moyu and YJ ones and the Flare and Ambition are by favourite puzzles of that order.

Discontinuing the Valk wasn't a decision that thrilled me.
Their Hungarian Supernova and Square-1 were good upon release, which was the point of my post.
