Here's a summary of what early reviewers in China said about the this super version of QiYi M Pro. "Super" does not mean super expensive, but super value.
It is tight as shipped, stable, and different in feel from other similarly spec'ed cubes.
Magnet strength is relatively weak.
In spite of the repulsive magnets, the auto homing feeling is weak but even. It's not suddenly, after passing a point, pushed forcibly and aligned. This means its turning is less bumpy and may be appreciated by those who prefer to push the layers themselves and have more control over the turning behaviour. (Some may prefer the stronger effect, if they have learnt to just give a little flick at the corner and rely on the magnets to finish the turning.)
Fault tolerance is fine or adequate, but nothing special.
The cube pieces have a split design, but there are extra bits inside to attach the 2 parts together, ie not relying on clips or insert on the sides of the pieces). (Hopefully this makes the pieces less hollow or more rigid).
UV coating quality is higher than many others (smoother surface)!
Weight is now 84g for this super duper fully loaded cube.
I have had good experience with the basic 55.5mm QiYi M Pro (no ball core, no Maglev or any anything fancy). So, it would be very interesting to see how well a smaller , ball-core version of it works. I can see this as a popular gift as a first cube to others, even if it could not beat my current favourite in performance, the 54mm Guhong Pro Maglev.
