The ZP Method is a 3-step speedcubing method that utilizes over 150 algorithms.

Step 1: Cross:

Normal Cross, like cfop

Step 2: ZF2L (F2L + Corner Orientation):

In this step, you solve the First Two Layers while simultaneously orienting the Last Layer (LL) corners.Basic Variant: Insert the first three F2L pairs normally and the last with WV, ensure all Last Layer corners are oriented by the end of the slot.Advanced Variant: Uses advanced F2L combined with Winter Variation (WV).

Step 3: ZPLL (Zeta-PLL)

ZPLL is a subset of 1LLL (1-Look Last Layer) where all Last Layer corners are already oriented. It consists of 155 algorithms.

This step can also be solved in 2 looks using EO (Edge Orientation) followed by standard PLL.

The 155 algorithms are divided into four distinct subgroups based on EO:
PLL: 21 cases
Anti-PLL: 22 cases
H: 40 cases
Hook: 72 cases

By ZPLL being a 1LLL subset, you can find all the algoritms in any site that contains 1LLL, like speedcube database.

Example solve:

Scramble: L2 B2 U2 F' B2 U' L' R' U' F

Cross (Yellow): L2 R F U' B2

Pair 1: U R' U R
Pair 2: U' F U2 F' (R U R')
Pair 3: U' (L' U' L2 U L')

WV: y2 U R U R' U' R U R' U' R U' R'

ZPLL: U2 (Rw U R' U' M U R U' R') U2

I like this method! But in the end, its just a CFOP variant.

When you think of it, every method is just a "varient" from whay the original solvers made. We just keep finding ways to refine it. I may be wrong, but my research to making a new method said so. It is worth a try making new approaches though!

155 algs are a lot yo!

isn’t this just an upgraded version of CFCE?
Because CFCE looks like this:
Step 1: Cross
Step 2: F2L
Step 3: CLL (orients+permutes LL corners)
Step 4: ELL (orients+permutes LL edges)

and ZP is:
Step 1: Cross
Step 2: Cross+3/F2L-1
Step 3: LS+CLL
Step 4: Basically ELL from what I’m seeing

no because the "CLL" on zp don't have Corner Permutation

Step 3 is LS+CO
Step 4 is CP+ELL in one alg, which I have also seen referred as XLL.

A downside of the method I found, it may need the usage of Summer Variation, WV with the other 3 move insert. Otherwise, for the F2L cases that setup to the split case, which is roughly half of them, the last slot can be quite inefficient.

I think I'm always the bearer of bad news, but this definitely has been proposed before.

I found this post from 2012. It mentions WV+COALL (what you're calling ZPLL).
Another post, from 2019. I reply to it. This definitely reinforces the pattern of me being a bearer of bad news.

I could keep on going, but it's already a thing, sorry.

The most advanced version of this method would require OLS, the CO version of ZBLL. If you don't care about the EO of the F2L edge, it's something like 1011 cases.

but someone used this on a method? someone created a method with this?

Even if it is not new, it does bear a parallel to the ZB method. I just think of it as the ZB method except the ZBLS step solves the last pair while orienting the corners (rather than the edges). And now the LL step instead of 493 cases only has 155. But presumably the ZBLS step has a lot more cases now.... I wonder how LL case recognition is (easier or harder) with oriented corners, rather than edges.

i think you only need to see the LL Edges Orientation and use 2 sided recogniction (like pll)

It’s okay-ish. I was working on CO solved LL for a while. I learned antipll and the diag cases. Overall 10000% worse than just doing ZB (I know about half of ZBLL and some ZBLS). Drastically blows up alg count for LS and the 1LLL cases seem to be worse than ZBLLs alg wise ( but they are also not as optimized so eh)
