I'm somewhat amenable to that, but TNoodle itself hasn't switched over. I could also use some stats on exactly which color substitutions are the most common and how much — I've definitely seen a lot of black tiles in Square-1, but I don't know enough myself about whether it usually replaces white rather than yellow.
It might be a bit of an ask but do you see twizzle supporting karnotation for squan at some point in the future? It makes writing recons a lot quicker and nicer.

This would definitely be a stretch.

Firstly, we don't currently support any "moves" that consist of multiple moves under the hood. There are already some other use cases for this, like HIJK notation for team BLD. However, Karnaugh is much more specialized and complicated — more like Burton-Winokur. I've held off on such a feature because it could turn cubing notation into various "dialects" that are more likely to become incompatible over time.

Additionally, Twizzle is meant to set a foundation for a very long time. Karnaukh notation is useful, but it's somewhat arbitrary and can take significant effort to learn/read. (It's also inconsistent with some conventions for other puzzles.) I'd want to know whether a significant number of Square-1 solvers will be using the notation for the next few decades — that today's choices will not go significantly out of date. Perhaps there's a middle ground, like consolidating a subset of Karnaukh into a common convention sort of like Speffz did for big cube BLD lettering.

So it's a matter of whether the community clearly settles in the direction of such a notation. From the history of this thread, it doesn't look nearly wide-spread enough to me right now.

its better on Lin. Idk almost all PLL+1 (copied pasted converted above alg lol, but I checked and on Lin it’s possible to do that scramble in 17 slices so not too bad
