I've always done this, although I don't mind solving uf ub first instead of ul ur. Nice video though, it's nice that there's a tutorial like this on youtube for newer solvers.

this is actually more of an advanced tutorial. newer solvers should be more focused on getting the basics down, such as blockbuilding and how to do LSE moderately efficiently.

Implying guroux and PDF are 'newer solvers'. wtf.

People learn stuff at different times. Don't be a jerk.

lol dont sweat it. it's not difficult to understand, just very hard to incorporate into solves.

I don't think he meant to refer to PDF and GuRoux as newer solvers. I think he was talking about newer solvers in general.

Okay, if he meant that I apologise, and I think I might have taken it the wrong way.

Here is my less consistent comp average, I average about 15.3 normally, I'll upload the more consistent one later.

noice one, jessica! that cmll recognition on that first solve was beautiful. the thing that i think would be most easy to improve on is cmll execution. just do it faster. you dont really have to worry about lookahead, just tps.

Yeaaaaah... Highlight of my cubing career. Gotta practise 2x2 then I guess, and finally fix those algs that I kinda hate ( (L F' L' U')2 F' U2 F is the worst one currently).

so after not cubing for 4 days, (aka having a life) i decided to do some solves, but with roux. ao5: 17.55. I'm going to use roux for the next week and see how it goes. Can I post a video of some solves here for help?

Hi rouxers!
I switched to roux from 13 second CFOP avg 24 hours ago. I currently Avg around 35 seconds with roux. my F2B takes around 15 seconds and I Think I'm good with M slice moves. my CMLL takes 3 seconds on avg. my LSE takes 15 seconds. What should I improve to get sub 20 seconds? thanks!

You gave up ZBLL!!!!???!?!?!?

How hard is it to switch from CFOP to roux? I am at 10.4 with CFOP, and 25ish with roux. i don't think I will ever switch, but sub15 roux would be cool
If you focus on Roux completely, then sub-15 shouldn't take you very long at all. I went from 25 to 16 or so in about 3 to 4 months of not completely practising Roux; if you focus on the weak parts of your solves (learn CMLL, do slow solves to help F2B etc.) then you should find yourself improving very quickly. You have better TPS than most Roux solves so this should give you an advantage if you do ever choose to switch.
