I thought you were a fopper?

I actually did use cfop at one point. It lasted 10 minutes and I gave up and said I will never learn 78 algs and I didnt know about 4LLL. Then tried petrus (couldnt figure out how to make a 2x2x2 block from text tutorials) but I could make 2x2x1, so I found roux.

I actually feel the same way about now.

PDF: sorry for thinking you use cfop :P didn't mean to make u change your sig

Im not mad at all btw. I was just bored : p. It just happens that sometimes ppl ask if I know full oll and I be like no then like oh u use two look so they like wat then I be like roux then like oh so ur one of those scrubs who likes run on sentences huh?

I'm switching to Roux now. I'm just tired of CFOP. I don't enjoy it anymore. I average 15 with CFOP and about 33-34 with Roux.

I just barely managed my 1st sub-20 long averages so, even though I'm also learning Roux, I think I still have room for improvement with CFOP but, yeah, Roux is a lot of fun, even though I'm still on the 50sec average.

Make sure you don't just "only kinda" switch. If you switch, never touch fop afain

Isn't that a bit strict? I intend to keep practising CFOP and maybe even learn ZZ for OH at some time in the future too. I didn't think this Roux thing was to be taken so exclusively :-). It's not like Roux was your wife of anything so you're not supposed to see your former girlfriend any more.

It is strict, but what he means is that you should focus your attention on your roux solves if you want to reach your CFOP times. Even I (who never learned cfop) get bored sometimes and do a cfop ao 5 for lols.

Yeah, I understand your point. In fact my reply was mostly humorous but you are right that, in order to improve, you have to take it seriously. I have experienced that myself last month, learning Roux and focusing on that I could quickly get to 40-50 second solves in a few days but soon after that I started to make progress again with CFOP (perhaps Roux had something to do with that?) and I have not practiced Roux since then. But I'll be back :)

By the way, if you don't practise CFOP but rarely... don't you forget the OLL/PLL algs? That's something that worries me a bit.
