i seem to be averaging high 11 for using yellow on bottom, so seems like it will take too much effort to fully integrate that any time soon.

I don't get what the big deal is about color neutrality with roux. Maybe it's just because I'm not fast that I don't have a recognition problem, but I never have issues knowing where to put pieces. As I'm inspecting, I just mentally say to myself "blue white" or whatever if I'm doing the green white first block so I remember to look for the blue white block after I get done with the first. After that I have no issues at all. Where exactly do you have problems?

I think it's more just being used to doing it. I know I CAN do CN, it just feels so foreign. LSE recognition is very difficult if it's not my default orientation.

Second block is what I find harder. First block I can always fully plan in inspection so the colour doesnt matter, but by the end of second block, I lose pieces and insert pairs of white pieces instead of yellow. Cmll is very easy since I easily recognize cll on any colour on 2x2. Lse is ok as long as its white or yellow. Instead of y x2, I use y but if there is an easy block on yellow bottom, I use it but for sb, 60% of the time I use NM with white bottom.

7.89 on that easy scramble. perhaps it is not a good idea to cube when sick.

yeah... i did slow solves pretty much all day trying out new tricks and lookahead. Seems like I cant even turn faster than 2-3 tps lol.. yeah that scramble could have been sub 9 with even decent turnspeed...

i got a 12 move f2b on that scramble. i think 35 moves total. so 4.4 tps for me.

Edit: I was also sick from Friday morning to yesterday night, aching stomach and it was swollen and I vomitted a couple times, stupid NY stomach bugs, now a blizzard. Perfect stay in and learn algs like EG day

If you have a stomach bug you should really wash your cube..

ring or middle finger push DB to BU. this is the most common way to do it i think.

Right pointer from BU to UF can work in some cases too, usually if a U' lefty pull follows. Maskow does this to great effect in his BLD solves, for example.

So now i'm either going to do an ao 1000 lse so I can finally get sub 3.5 which would give me times in a full solve of low 12s. Or I could do OH LSE in 2H solves lol.
EDIT: hey ryan and guroux, enjoying your 70+ degrees farenheit? Right now its -13 farenheit and yesterday it was -31... I hate winter...

i disagree, there is too much pauses doing M this way unless it's many M moves in a row, then it might be worth it. but if it's M' U M U M' U M, definitely not.
