Happy Friday
How's that working out?

Pretty much got it. Fully learned 4c recog, and cleaned up execution, switching style. I used to do U with right index, U' with left index, M' with right ring, and M with right thumb from UF down. I switched to U/U' both with left index, and M/M' with push and pull with right ring finger, and help from right middle for M2. Now I have sub 4 lse pretty easy. Cant post any averages, since im on vacation, and I cant use my laptop and cstimer to keep track of averages.

bruh how you fully learn 4c recog, I barley recognize it + how you sub-4 lse m8?
This is madness. Your skill too OP :'o

No my rate of improvement is op. My skill is meh. Still quite a nub. Eo takes 1s, lr edge takes 1s, then 1-1.5s for ep. Watch kavins video for 4c recog on his chanell, Guroux. Maps600 also did a good one. Now, all I need to do is learn 4a-b in same step and improve to 6tps, and then my lse will be great. Lse takes the longest time to master.

assuming this is still the roux help/discussion thread... I was wondering how I could learn to be more move efficient with the first two blocks... (note, not gonna look through 268 pages to see if anyone has asked this before, too much time that I can use with other things... sorry) watching walk through solves just intimidates me and tempts me into doing CFOP again...

Or you could make a mental list of the 2 most efficient ways to solve each combination of pieces for first and second block, and use each accordingly to what you want to influence. Simply, dont move unless you know what you are affecting and what you are accomplishing (hopefully at least something). Experiment with different ways of making blocks, including line with line.

Thank you guys, also do you have any tips on recognition/thinking fast or will these come with practice?

Yes. Mix untimed and timed practice. I recommend 50/50.

The only ways to get faster are to:

Lower movecount (by learning more efficient methods) - Untimed Solves
Raise TPS (finger muscle memory and reducing pauses) - Timed Solves

They are both important.

Four hours straight of solving: produced 12.54 ao 12. I'm a month on your tail Ryan! Better get moving... forgot to look at the ao 50 and 100... they would've been pb though... failed pb ao 5 attempt too: 11.34, 11.13, 11.52, DNF(17.83), DNF(19.45). Like a boss. No more solving for the day.. neck pain and numb wrists ftw

Do you have any videos of your solves? It's not that I don't believe you ...actually it might be, but you know, don't take it the wrong way.

Last recorded solve I did was my 15.67 pb when I averaged 21s. I dont really have a good way to setup my camera, so it is hard. You have every right to not believe me. Even i find my progress questionable. Last week, I was struggling for a sub 14 ao 100 which I finally got last sunday, and now i feel my ao 100 would be between 12.8 and 13.2. All i did was solve a lot and fix up my lse. I might record an average when I get back home.
