Lol im busy too. My tps is like 10 max with RUR'U' trigger times 6 time 2.4 ish. Record like 1.8. anyway, does that mean I have large hands? U seem to be older than me. In other news, I hit sub 14. 13.5 ish ao 50. Details of the ao 100 will be posted soon.

don't worry, i think my my record for RUR'U' x6 is 1.6x. wait, then i should be worrying.

I'm propbably gonna get a mini Zanchi for OH main and a weilong v2 for 2H main should I get the weilong mini too?

No, mini zhanchi should fine. Might even become your 2h main. I practiced for an hour with my old guhong v1, and got sub 14 when I switched back to my brand new weilong v2. I think i improved because of turning accuracy.

Zam that 2 gen 2nd block is too OP.
Anyway, i'm looking to get a new cube soon from a comp on the 13th, because something is wrong with my Aolong, it has serious catching issues especially with M-slices, should i get a weilong or a dayan guhong / zanchi because i don't own one, both is also an option :3.
EDIT- it also corner twisted when I would've got my PB :'( DNF

I personally think Guhongs are great. I have popping issues on the v1, but that's mostly because of my rough turning. v2's are amazing if broken in and lubed with slightly heavier stuff to make them gummier. After you've worked it all in and made it really smooth, you can switch to lighter weight lube.

I agree. Guhongs are amazing when lubed with thicker lube. Couple drops of weight 3 and I turn just as fast if not faster than my aolong and weilong. My v1 (old stickerless) doesnt poo that much, maybe 1 out of 25. You just have to be accurate. Try the v2. Havent heard anything bad.

I've had a fondness for zhanchis I used one from 1:00+ Roux to sub 30 Roux but I never lubed it.
Probably gonna buy 2 mini zhanchis one for OH, different tensions, lube etc.
and one for 2H, hope it feels nice, only ever had a white 57mm Zanchi.
EDIT: I also realized that a lot of fast Roux solvers use Dayan cubes proving that newer isn't necessarily better.

Anyone other than Alex Lau (Guhong 2)? I guess Austin Moore, but his pb average is from 2012 (probably Zhanchi), and I'm not sure he's active now. Idk about Kaijun Lin or Thom Barlow though; they might use Dayans. But i do think that many people have shrugged off the Zhanchi and orher Dayan cubes in the wake of Moyu's many new cubes, even though they are great cubes.

I wish I knew exactly when I switched and what I was averaging then. But my best guess it that I cubed for around 10 months before I switched to Roux, but I had known how to solve with Roux for a while, so when I switched I was probably around 25s average, but it could have been higher. I just remember trying out Roux and CFOP (after using Waterman/CF for a while) in April after a comp, and I kinda flip flopped between methods then, and I didn't practice 3x3 a ton. Then once I definitively switched my times dropped pretty fast because I was focused on just one method. @PenguinsDontFly How long did it take you to get sub 20/15? Iirc, I got my first sub 15 ao100 in early July, back when I could practice more :p. Ah, summer vacation.

Do you mean how long it took from not knowing how to solve to sub 20 and sub 15? I started in july, was sub 20 in september (2 months), then was sub 15 in november (4 months).
