I know that but if you do that move you still have to do the (-1,0) to bring it to solved, so you would need another move for both misalignments
If on square-1 you do (1,0) and then partially do a / move, is it considered solved?
Are you allowed to just start doing blindfolded during normal 3x3 or OH? Similar to how you're allowed to compete in normal 3x3 OH if you're faster with OH.
Gianfranco is faster at BLD than sighted. So almost surely not -- I can't imagine anyone becoming faster at BLD than sighted solving, so this would be an intentionally poor result. And for nearly everyone, doing OH during normal 3x3x3 speedsolve would not be allowed.
- A1c) A competitor participating in an event must be able to fulfil the event's requirements (e.g. know how to solve the puzzle). A competitor must not compete with expectation of a DNF result or an intentionally poor result. Penalty: disqualification of the attempt (DNF) or disqualification from the event (see Regulation 2j), at the discretion of the WCA Delegate.
that's what I thought, it's just weird that you can misalign two perpendicular layers one after the otheryes, (1,0) < 45°
wow haha, I didn't see that before now
I highly doubt you'll have to pay for them. I don't know how it works where you live, but here the UKCA provide the timers/mats etc.If I organise a competition do I have to pay for all of the timers?
I know this might be a stupid question but I just dont know.
Anyone help?
thanks
I think the delegate provides the timers. I'm not sure. Contact a nearby delegate for more information. If I organise a competition do I have to pay for all of the timers?

(...) U face is turned anticlockwise/clockwise by 90 degrees, but then the R face is turned anticlockwise/clockwise 44 degrees. Does that count as a +2 or DNF?
I have not yet seen one, but I don't see why it wouldn't be. Is there any specific regulation it violates? It's not like a pillowed puzzle because you can't see anything that you wouldn't be able to see on a regular puzzle. Is the qiyi concave megaminx wca legal?
