One-Answer WCA Competition and Regulations Question Thread

I know this is an older thread. But, how do you cancel a registration? Do I just go through the contact form on the WCA site and ask them to cancel it?
Yes. You can sometimes delete your own but going through the contact form on the competition page is the best way. That way you'll get any refunds you're owed, etc.

Are averages computed by using the times rounded to two decimals? If you find the answer in the WCA regs, I would also appreciate to know which reg answers this. 🤠
9f1 All timed results under 10 minutes, except for 3x3x3 Multi-Blind, are measured and truncated to the nearest hundredth of a second. All timed averages and means under 10 minutes are measured and rounded to the nearest hundredth of a second.

Due to how the internal clock speed of Gen3 timers work, only about 1/3 of all times are possible to archieve. Due to this, the 3rd decimal(which is inaccurate) is currently left out.

Gen4 Timers claim to have fixed this, which to my knowledge isn't actually true(or maybe it was fixed during their lifecycle)
