Hey, i have a short question. Is the Rubik branded 2x2x2 screws stainless steel or another material.

For my daughter who is a beginner but getting into it, and interested in getting a little faster. Just wondering, both the MoFang JiaoShi MF2s 2x2 and the GuoGuan XingHen 2x2 have 13, 5 star ratings. The MoFang is $2.49 and the GuoGuan is $12. Any reason to go for the more expensive one?

One of my center stickers on my 13x13x13 has come loose. It's a factory sticker. I really want to try to keep this rather than using a different sticker as a replacement. I don't want to use superglue. Are there any methods to attach a sticker (in this case one of those tiny centers on a 13x13x13) without causing permanent damage? I've read that Elmer's glue doesn't work well.

Is the GAN356 Air UM going to be available outside thecubicle in the near future?

It is on the GANS store now... and I think someone mentioned that it is exclusive for a month, but don't count on that.

UPDATE: Scs said they're getting it in a week or two. Gonna be $40ish.

EDIT: Been a bit more than a week or two lol

I am on SpeedCubeShop and when I search "Dayan 2x2", it only shows the 46mm and 50mm version of the Dayan ZHANCHI 2x2. ALSO: I'm 13 and a Rubik's brand fits ALMOST in all of my palm. Which size is better in 2x2?

Generally people use a 50mm 2x2. 46mm is pretty small. Just for reference, the average 3x3 is 56 to 57mm, so if a regular-sized 3x3 fits in your hands, a 50mm 2x2 definitely should.

My Cubicle Square 1 suddenly became really loose and when I try to tighten it, the screw inside protrudes out of one of the long cap pieces and it stops me from keeping the cap on. Has anyone experienced this and have a solution?

Yes, that means the core is stripped. There's no way to solve this (as far as I'm aware) but to buy a new one. People who solve Square-1 a lot have upwards of 5 QiYi Square-1s in their collection because they strip so easily.

isn't the point of the cubicle square 1's extra price is a mod that fixes this problem?

What exactly happened when the core strips? I think it happened to both my Square-1s, one of them is really stiff and the other pops on every other solve.

What exactly do you mean by "core stripped"?

I used a metal nut in mine after the core stripped, don't see how it can fail now. I think the Cubicle mod used to do this, but I vaguely remember the stock core being changed somehow to stop the problem, seems like something is still going wrong though. I'm curious what the latest info is on this since I've not heard much recently.

The "X-Man Design" logo on my stickerless X-Man Tornado and my sculpted X-Man Galaxy is wearing off, and it's annoying me. What can I use to get rid of the logo that won't affect the other parts of the cube or the plastic itself?

Probably isopropyl alcohol will do the job. Just rub it on the piece with a paper towel.
