so I have a moyu aolong v2
I've had it for about half a year now. It started off fast and smooth but now it feels sticky and pops when i do U perms. I've never lubed it, and never changed the tensions. The only thing I've done is lots of solves. How can I make it fast again?

Make tensions tighter or use wt 5 lube but the plastic might have deteriorated by now

You should disassemble, clean, lube and adjust the tensions of the cube. This will probably make it fast again.

Do you want control or speed for speed use 30 or 10 k for control use 50k.

You should learn full oll and re learn anything you forgot.

You probably have a messed up core or screw.

I would recommend that you buy a new core and just in case screw from the cubicle.

Not from thecubicle because of their ridicolusly high shipping cost but that is a good idea. Otherwise the screws are extra small in the yuexiao so one may have been bended.

How do people get their Dayan 2x2s so fast? Mine is sort of smooth but there is a lot of static friction (force needed to start a turn?) I've tried a Dayan 2x2 that is sooo sooooo fast and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've tried Maru, weight 2, and nothing works.

I may be an anomaly, but after heavily lubing my dayan with wt 5 it got super fast with no force needed... but i didn't want it that fast -.- so i wiped it a little, but now I need a lot of force to get it moving

The paper thing works, but you have to cut a piece that's larger than the size of the cap.
Alternatively you can try putting a piece of blue tack under the cap.
