How can I improve my F2L? My look-ahead is quite good, but my times are very high. Have you got any tips?

25 on average. Sometimes it takes only 15-18 seconds, sometimes 30.

You're going to hate me for this, but practice is the only way. I average maybe 8 to 13 seconds and I'm not doing anything special (and my lookahead isn't great). All you can do is practice and keep looking for quicker ways to do slow cases.

Edit: 3x3 =/= megaminx
Practice will probably still be best.

Oh crap, sorry. Thought this was the oaqt, sorry. I'm getting a megaminx for Christmas though (which is why I'm looking at this thread), so maybe I'll improve quickly!

put the solved corner on the upper left corner and do an E perm

Now I know Permuteramera is the main website for getting mega PLLs and such, but a LOT of the algorithms are very poor and loads of people use much better algorithms. I'm not massively interested in megaminx myself, I enjoy solving, but am not fast. However, how difficult would it be to collaborate to to recreate a similar collection of algorithms, but with the best algorithms people have found and actually use regularly. I asked MaeLSTRoM to make a list of his PLLs but I also thought, why not just make a massive and most importantly, USEFUL list?
