Pseudo means that it’s a double x cross, but misaligned by a number of D moves, really only effective to use for like top solvers, but I use it when I do fmc sometimes. If you do the solution on your cube you’ll see what I mean.

Um, I tried a pseudo x cross, happened to be pseudo xxcross with a 3 move insert for a 3rd pseudo pair and then finished the solve.

You have the same thing on 2x2, pyra and others. Like on 2x2 for example your make half the first layer white and the other half yellow, then recon the case then execute, then R2

I rarely do this (actually messed it up in my last competition and would've been a lower 2 average bruh), so this is not something many 2x2ers would focus on. I may be wrong about pseudo layers and stuff but I just don't think its a good recog set to learn

Oh yeah this is only useful to top level solvers its the most advanced technique for 2x2

my time could have been a lot faster but my hands are tired after a day of practice so I fumbled the fourth pair

some tips I suggest for your solves:
for the third pair, you can just do a y and then solve the green-orange pair. It’s a lot better than what you did because it doesn’t undo the pair that you did (which is what happened in your solution) and doesn’t require a y2. I suggest doing solutions that are simpler. Basically, don’t try to be Tymon.
