Easy / Lucky / Hard / Weird scrambles Thread

This scramble had a really easy orange cross, and even though I am not color neutral I was still able to get a good time on it for me.

This is a really good scramble if you use ZZ, I got my pb on it! (yeah, I'm slow ;-; )

0.62 2x2 single! Third best solve ever and PB2! (I have 2 PB's that are tied.)
Scramble: F R F2 U2 R F2 U2 F2 R'

Inspection: x2
Solution; R2 U2 R' U'
TPS: 6.45
This could have been better but I'm not going to complain as both of my PB single's (0.52) solutions were R U' R' U2 (same solution as WR) and R U2 R' U, which both are exactly the same speed as they both have 1 double move, an R move, an R' move, and some type of single U face turn. The 0.62's solution was the same except the R move was an R2 move, thus making it slightly worse as double moves are slower than single moves. However it does add an extra wrist turn and since wrist turns are already fast as it is it doesn't really make a difference. Also, I got a 0.55 DNF on a scramble 30 or so solves before that was exactly the same as the 0.62's solution but rearranged, however it didn't end in an LL skip like I thought it would so it was just a DNF instead.

im only dual color neutral
I meant with white, here is a reconstruction of how I did it

This green cross is really good, and it leads to great F2L too, I'm glad to have gotten a 12 on green cross.

Blocks galore. y' L F' D L' U R U R2 F2 R is the 10 move xxxcross I found in inspection, which I was very proud of, but the continuation is pretty meh.

we had the same approach to it, only difference was for (my) pair 3 i rotated for R moves

Could the Belt Method be used quickly here? I have little experience with it, so I wouldn't know anything optimal.
Not any more than the CFOP solution, I'm sure. My solution after the triple x cross was U' L' U' L d' L U L' U sexy sledge Ja, for a total of 37 moves for the entire solution, I got an 8.02.

I think that generally, whenever the question of "could some other method be used here" is posed, the answer is "not faster than CFOP." Most methods end up being more useful as add-ons to a CFOP solve anyway than as entirely new methods. Truthfully, at some point the difference between methods with a "last layer" step becomes quite blurred. I didn't even think of my solution as a triple x cross when I planned it, I thought of it as making a five move pseudo double x cross, then inserting third pair, then finishing cross. If I were a top level solver, I probably would have oriented the edges during fourth pair and used a zbll, at which point the solve was basically a petrus solution.

Belt is, to my understanding, basically "redux the 3x3 to a square-1 and then solve it like a square-1 sans cubeshape." Square-1 is already a slower puzzle than 3x3, and you have to spend more time doing the redux than cubeshape, so this doesn't really make much sense.

The only other actually good method is roux.

Good to know, I wasn't expecting it to be faster than CFOP, especially seeing your xxxcross.
