Easy / Lucky / Hard / Weird scrambles Thread

Got a 0.52 tied 2x2 PB single on this scramble: U2 F2 U2 R U2 F2 U' R2 U'

The most obvious solution is x2 z' R U2 R' U, and it is probably the best solution. If you are lefty, you could do that from the back by doing z' L U2 L' U, but you have to either reset your right index finger for the U or have to do a push if you start in homegrip, so you would have to start with your left hand thumb on the top and do U2 with your left to avoid the finger reset. You also do the U2 as an F2 x' y L F2 L' F, but the F move at the end is hard to do, so it isn't as good.

pb! 0.63
(I won't count it tho because I didn't find the scramble on my session)

I one looked it

Got a 10.33 on this 3x3 scramble which is my 2nd best solve on cam and my best solve on cam that wasn't done at a comp: U L2 B2 F2 U L2 B2 U2 F2 D B U2 B2 L' B2 D' U R D2

I did white cross on this solve but I missed this really nice solution on yellow:
Inspection: y'
Yellow cross while preserving a pair: R D' F R B' D2
First pair: B U' B' (B moves is best because your right hand would have been in position to do B moves as it had just done a B move earlier)
Second pair: U L U' L' R U' R'
Third pair: y' U R U' R'
Fourth pair: F U F' U L' U' L
COLL: U' L' U' L U L F' L2 U' L U L' U' L U F'
AUF: U
This is very lucky considering the PLL skip and the EO skip. I know I don't use the standard alg (which I probably should) for that COLL, but if you used the standard alg you would still get a PLL skip with a U2 AUF.

I got 0.88

Just got this solve. Not necessarily lucky from the start but it confused me after I finished the cross and I paused for like 4 seconds. The way I did the cross was: z2 R’ F R L y’ U’ R2. It took me so long to figure out that. F2 M’ U2 M would solve both pairs 🤦‍♂️

Just got a 6.48 3x3 PB single (it was a keyboard cheating solve though) :

Scramble: F2 U2 R' D2 R' B2 F2 L' F2 L' U2 F' R U2 B' U F2 D2 L2

If you aren't color neutral, scramble in such a way that one of your cross colors is on the front face.

Inspection: x' y'
Green cross: D' U2 F U' F (U' was to save the red yellow pair)
First pair: L U' L'
Second pair: R U2 R' y L U L'
Third pair: y' U' R' U R
Setup to WV case: U R U' R' y (at this point I was going to insert the pair but then realized that I have a WV case I know and since the WV case is the all oriented case it is super easy to recognize)
WV: U R U2 L' U' L U2 R'
AUF: U2
This was 34 moves, making my TPS 5.25

I just got a 7.17 3x3 PB2 single and my best full-step solve ever. Would've been PB if I didn't get a 6.48 yesterday.

Scramble: U B2 U' L2 U F2 D' R2 U R U' B2 R B' D F R B2 F'
If you want to try this scramble and you aren't color neutral scramble in such a way that one of your cross colors is on the front face while scrambling.

Inspection: x' (auto correct corrected it to "I now thin")
Green XX cross: D U2 R' D' F' y' L F' L'
Third pair: U L' U L U F' U F
Fourth pair; U2 L' U2 L U' L' U L (I recently learned this WV case and since I was on such a fast pace I didn't do it because I knew I would pause)
OLL: U' r U R' U' r' F R F'
PLL: x R2 D2 R U R' D2 R U' R
AUF: U
This should've been sub 7 but turning was slightly locky at the end. The A perm clutched it as it is my favorite and fastest PLL.
