Problem assembling moyu 4x4 (megamorphix)

Hello, today I dissasembled the moyu megamorphix to lube the core and adjust the tensions, and when I assemble it, in one of the axis the inner layer doesn't turn. The other two axis turn perfectly, and all the outer layers too, but this one seems to catch very badly (it turns if I force it), and I don't find the problem. I have tried to dissasemble and assemble it again and the problem continues. Any advise?

Some time ago I had the same problem with my cyclone boys, but when I assembled it again the problem disapeared.

Thank you in advance.

Fixed...

Finally I switched two centers. I can't undertand why now works, the mechanism of a 4x4 is a little complicated XD

Hey everyone. I recently got a Qiyi Thunderclap and love it. Want to make it a little faster, though. I'm still new to cubing and have heard about lubing it and "loosening the tensions". Not sure what the tensions are. Teehee. So can anyone help me with this? Also wondering how to look at the core and take the cube apart. I think I know how (take off one edge after doing 45 degree rotation of the face.) but would appreciate more tips. Thank you!

Joey

The centers have caps that you pull off, I recommend taking the whole thing apart since the Thunderclap has weird caps and once you remove them you will see screws, adjusting them makes the tension as they have springs under them

image.jpg image.jpg So I recently disassembled a Rubik's cube and then tried to assemble it again but I'm having problems assembling the top.. Also I'm pretty sure this is a Yj cube because it says that on the stand please help!

The video that Stoic gave is no good because it's a different mechanism. The one you have appears to be a knock-off Eastsheen so you should be searching for Eastsheen 4x4x4 assembly. I haven't checked them but I suspect these will be what you want.

I was learning how to solve a 4x4, and a peice popped. I couldn't put it back. So I decided to take the cube apart and reassemble it. I managed to do that once , but I didn't take apart the central ball like thing that time. Now I have this piece. Which I don't know where to keep. Please help.

Here is an image of the piece I'm doubtful about.

I disassembled and reassembled my 4x4 to replace the screws but now the center pieces are catching on the nubs sticking out from the center circle thing. Did I do anything wrong?

Having the same issue on a Yuxin Blue
Take your cube apart and look at the center stalks. Each stalk has two slots at the end (one long and one short). These slots mate with tabs on the core. It's possible to put the center stalk on "backward" so the long tab is in the short slot, which will cause the stalk to not sit down flush on the core. Look and see if you have any center stalks on backward and flip them the right way. Note: the difference in length between the short/long slots is not much so you have to look very carefully.

I just set up a Yuxin blue a couple weeks ago and it can be a little tricky unless you are really paying attention.

Which 4x4 is that?

I've been following various tutorials for reassembling 6x6s in order to reassemble my Wuhua; however, I always get stuck after the first three layers when trying to put in the internal edges. I can't successfully squeeze in the internal edges without the rest of the cube exploding. Is there any way to overcome this problem?
