This case:
Ah, alright. I'm sure you know this, but this case is just F Sexy*2 F'. Also, if you know OLL, it's just this case:

I don't know this 3x3 OLL case, but I have just learnt OLL 22 for 3x3 last night. Do you think it's fine if I use the same alg for this OLL on 2x2?
Seems like doing 3x3 OLL 22 on 2x2 is more efficient, its only 9 moves compared to 10 moves with any other algs

Anything would be fine, but the easiest and quickest one is F (R U R' U')2 F'. I also used OLL 22 for a while, but this is much quicker.

You definitely can use OLL 22 (also known as “Pi” OLL); it’s what I meant when I said you could use OCLL (all the OLLs where cross is solved).

F (RUR’U’)2 F’ is definitely faster though. Often with algorithms the movecount isn’t always the most important thing. Because of all its double moves, using OLL 22 is actually slower, even though it’s a move shorter. The other alg also is extremely ergonomic and everything flows really well in it.

For more about what makes an algorithm good, I’d check out J Perm’s video:

First successful 4x4 attempt! Making the centers took a few minutes, but edge pairing was super fast and I got no parity.

I am going to get a new OH 3x3, should I get the GAN 11 Pro Mini or the YJ ZhiLong Mini? I am looking for something smooth and controllable
I'm trying to get into 3x3 OH too. To be honest, even though the YJ mini is a decent speed cube, it doesn't really work well for me for OH. I think the M slices of the YJ mini are just too thin for me. The GAN mini M pro 3x3 is 53mm, but actually it has M slices as thick as on the GAN 11 M pro. That's why I have just ordered a GAN mini M pro few days ago. Also note that the frosted version of the GAN mini M pro isn't as grippy as the semi-frosted plastic on the GAN pyraminx and the GAN skewb. The frosted plastic on the GAN mini M pro is more like the frosted plastic on the GAN 251 M pro, which are slippery before breaking in. For the GAN 251 M pro, I found it just grippy enough after breaking in. However, I just don't think it is a good idea to do OH breaking in on a frosted GAN mini M pro. Hence, I actually ordered the UV coated version for the GAN mini M pro considering that grip would become much more important when it comes to OH. It will be my very first GAN 3x3 and first GAN UV coated puzzle.

Speedcubeshop doesn't have a UV coated Gan 11 mini, would you still recommend it or should I get the YJ ZhiLong? Also, what is the difference between thinner/thicker M slices?

Like when you do U and D moves, moves can sometimes be blocked by your thumb as your thumb won't be able to fit into the middle layer on the YJ ZhiLong mini M 3x3 when doing OH.
