3BLD memo help

I average 30-40 on 3BLD with around 20 memo, using images for corners and audio for edges. Most of the times it is very hard, even impossible for me to remember my corner memo, as I have difficulties remembering the image I created after memoing and executing edges, which really hurts my exec time. Any tips on improving image retention? My goal is eventually to get sub 10 memo consistently, but I find it really hard to retain images most of the time.
