I just bought a rubix cube off ebay as a gift, and it is shipping from china. The title has speedcube in it, so I thought that would be an added bonus, as I just wanted to get a nice stickerless cube. However, it sure doesn't look like one. If any of you can tell me if it is legit or not, that would be greatly appreciated. The link to the eBay page is here: bit.ly/1grtv2i

yes that is stickerles, no thats not going to be a good speed cube. technicaly tho, those are are tiles.

Looks like one of those old tiled dollar store cubes. Could be wrong though.

This speedcube will suck, although it is a cube. With some speed. But doesn't really look like a well-known speedcube

To the guy with AoSu inner layer problems:

Sounds to me like a tension issue. You just need to tweak your tensions around until you find a way to fix the issue. There's most likely nothing wrong with the cube. I call mine The Lord. That's how good it is.

Sometimes I like to remove the Dayan Logos from my cubes. That might solve the problem.

As far as I know, Fangcuns and Dayans are pretty much the same cube, but different manufacturers. Meaning that Fangcun wont use Dayan's centercaps to make their cubes xD

The cubes are identical haha. Even the caps. The Dayan logo embedded in real Zhanchis is just blurred out on fangcuns.

Hm I've experimented with the tensions a bit and it doesn't seem to be related at all.
There's some sort of alignment fault, which causes the middle layers to catch on each other at the end of a rotation.

I understand what you are saying. I have many Dayan Zhanchi's and also some stircker less ones. And I do agree with you. Mine popped a lot at first. No matter how many times I tensioned it and lubed it, the cube still popped. After awhile it calmed down and didn't pop as much. I think you just need to break in your cube first because there are no fake Zhanchi's out there.

I also have this problem but I just pop them back up. Or you can put some lube in the piece and then pop it back so it stays together :)
I bought my Moyu aosu a few days ago. Then when I was doing some solves the center caps of the cube started to fall down. So what to do ? Has anybody got this problem ?

Actually there are fake zhanchi. I got one zhanchi v5 for 13$ and it looked like a real zhanchi even the pieces etc but it could not cut 45' and the plastic started to have a burn type of texture after like a 1000 solves and everytime I solved, it would get more slower. In the end, I crushed it under my car :) I was a good temptation :)

Me again! I really hope this gets noticed. Anyway, I was browsing on eBay yesterday, and found ANOTHER Speedcube for a really low price. Automatically, I bought it because it was so cheap. But like the last time I posted, I ant to know if it is an actual Speedcube. thanks! Link to the cube is here http://bit.ly/1dQWl1Z

I got a zhanchi from cubicle and it sucks compared to my weilong, I lubed and tensioned it but its slow and stiff. What should I do

My new ShengShou 3x3x3 cube is even stiffer than normal chinese cubes!

Hi, this is my fist post in these forums so I hope I would be great help to all of you present here.
Anyway this is the reason why I am posting this thread, I just bought a new ShengShou 3x3x3 Speed , that can be found here- http://www.flipkart.com/shengshou-3x...DRBGNE9UTRQAP&

Now the problem is the cube is very stiff right out of the box and even after 10 to 12 solves it does not move freely I have also tensioned it ti the best so that it does not pop but remain quite smooth but it is as tough as rock and I just got a chinese cube as a gift cube as a gift which is still much faster than my shengshou. Can anyone tell me what's the problem? Or is it the cube? Or should i get it replaced? Thanks all!

Notes
1. I cant get a lube as I don't have the money to buy one.
2. Each video review I see has the cube floating right out the box! I mean it's just like a Dayan ZhangChi but mine was like a 1$ piece
3. Do I need to play around with till at least 14-20 hours to make it smoother?
4. If I need to contact the place from where I got it , please inform me ASAP so that it stays under the replacement guarantee.

Edit: I am not saying it's a 1$ piece it's 5$ please visit the link and then you'll know what I mean! Also after having the cube tensioned loosely I have managed to make it easier to move but still it doesn't look like what I wanted anyway not sad right now as I am not a hardcore cuber who'll need a awesome cube!

Hi guys, just wondering if these pictures resemble a fake Dayan Zhanchi (it didn't come with torpedos so I think it's fake) or not, I hope it's real. Don't worry about the torpedos just the edges, corners and the cube itself (it's stickerless version). I'm kinda concerned on the uneven holes on the cube and the dip in where the two/three edges or corners meet. Pictures:
