Hi,

I'm Nick and i'm from the UK. Not really sure how many UKers speedcube or how many there are on this site though :p

I've only started recently and i'm around the 50 second mark, so nothing special.

Erm, Yeah brilliant introduction.

Oh. I have a Mini 2x2, a Store bought 3x3, a Stickerless Dayan GuHong and an Eastsheen 4x4. Think I might get a regular 2x2 V Cube though.

Boop.

Don't eat me please :p

p.s I'm 17

Edit:
Here's a picture of my mini 2x2:

Sorry about the hipsterness

Hey. I am from the UK too, the ratio of british:americans seems to be quite big. But there are some of us :p your cubes are all okay, apart from your 2x2, should get a v-cube or something. If your gonna get into 4x4, I would recommend a x-cube, although a shengshou or a maru is a cheaper option

Hope you have fun on here, everyone is friendly as long as you punctuate and follow the rules. Have fun ! :)

Thanks for the reply :D I hope you don't mine if add you as a friend (If you can do that).
I already have a 4x4 Eastsheen but i'm not looking to speedsolve that at the moment. So that's ok.
However the mini 2x2 is just for fun as it's cute but think i'll get the regular 2x2 soon :)

Hi, there are quite a few UK cubers on here including myself. Welcome! Where in the UK are you from?
Protip: Get a LanLan 2x2. Afaik, nobody that is really fast at 2x2 uses V-2. Also, LLs are superawesome and less than £3 from lightake.

Didn't realise they were only £3 from lightake, thanks for mentioning that.
I'm from the west midlands, near kidderminster if you know where that is :p

You should also consider getting another GuHong or the new Zhanchi, because stickerless cubes are not competition legal.

Yeah I knew this when I bought it. I think if I get to the stage where I want to enter competitions (I dont even know if there are many in the UK really) i'll get a regular stickered cube, however until then I'll stick with my stickerless. Regardless if I get a new 3x3x3 it'll most likely be stickered.

Just in case you don't know, the World Cube Association(WCA) is the governing body of all official competitions, and you can check out their site for all information upcoming and past competitions.
Good luck in your speedcubing!

Best thread title ever. :D

Thanks for your advice, I think i'm going to get a LanLan now :)

Edit: Although my mini one could never be serious for speedsolving I did a little average:

Average: 22.60 (Fastest: 16.54 s)

I'm no pro but it's still a fun cube.

Welcome. I too am British and from the Midlands (Walsall/Wolverhampton ish) but I now live in the Wales. While we are at it, are there any cubers out there who also live in Wales? Stickerless Guhongs rule!
