That literally makes my point - those puzzles are so hard to scramble accurately that they changed the rules to allow them to be scrambled incorrectly. Clock is nowhere near that.note that regulations 4g1a and 4a1 apply to mega, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7
Clock is a much faster event than 5x5, 6x6, 7x7 or megaminxThat literally makes my point - those puzzles are so hard to scramble accurately that they changed the rules to allow them to be scrambled incorrectly. Clock is nowhere near that.
Which has nothing to do with whether it's harder to scramble than those four events. And, even if it did, CLOCK ISN'T HARD TO SCRAMBLE.Clock is a much faster event than 5x5, 6x6, 7x7 or megaminx
yes but they don't need to be scrambled accurately so there will basically be no issues with misscramblesThat literally makes my point - those puzzles are so hard to scramble accurately that they changed the rules to allow them to be scrambled incorrectly. Clock is nowhere near that.
nah they're based. I actually respect the WCA board so much more now for having the balls to remove such a popular event. i support them, clock never belongedThese board members are idiots for removing such a popular event
I only just saw this forum but I am also at Hampshire right now! Clock is still there luckilyIf it being removed from the wca hampshire this weekend will be the last time i compete in clock cuz there is no point now
Nobody likes a sore winner. You also earned yourself very few favors by going into various event discord servers and telling them that their event(s) should be removed. Just enjoy your W without putting down others.nah they're based. Lowkey I’d do that if I could.
Exactly. They are so hard to scramble that they rewrote the rules to accommodate them. But with clock? "Man, that is just SO HARD to scramble". Besides the fact that it's not hard to scramble clock, it's being punished for being "hard to scramble" but others are not.yes but they don't need to be scrambled accurately so there will basically be no issues with misscrambles
they're not even that hard to scramble, they just take more time. i just tried scrambling a 7x7 right now (generated from cstimer btw), it took me 38 seconds, and it's pretty sufficiently scrambled. additionally i would argue it's more hectic to scramble rounds for smaller events such as 2x2 and pyra, since solves are comparatively short and more people participate per round, meaning that in my experience, even with 2 or 3 scramblers, everyone is constantly scrambling and new cubes still keep coming in. whereas in the handful of times i had to scramble big cubes, i was waiting half the time (though i do understand this might just be because i scramble faster).Exactly.
