Bit of an odd title for a progression thread, but ill explain it.
You see, almost 2 years ago, on September 3rd 2023, i started cubing.
Now I watched alot, and I mean ALOT of cubing videos before I started cubing, so I was aware of all the events.
I really liked the idea of a mini guilford, so I decided that one of my main cubing goals was to get sub 7:30 at it.
My current best attempt is 10:00 plus, but i assume it was about 10 to 11 minutes.
To get good at a mini guilford, you have to be good at 10 different events.
But i havent really practiced most events in a mini guilford.
And theres also 1 other event i want to practice (3BLD)
So thats 11 events i want to do (2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, OH, Skewb, Pyra, 3BLD, Squan, Clock, Mega).
So i had this idea :
What if i spent one month of the year practicing only 1 event ?
(The 12th " event " is Mini Guilford btw)
And heck, what perfect timing, a good time to start is right around the corner (Next Wednesday is 2 year cubing anniversary thing, like i said earlier).
I do have a road to maining APB progression thread, so I will be practicing APB on 3x3 throughout this.
I will be trying to document my progress on yt, so you can check that out if you want, most likely with 2 videos on the 3rd n 4th of each month, 1 of which will introduce the next event, my goal, etc, and the other will look at my progress in that event during the month.
Is this a good idea ?
