Hi!
I enjoy solving all sorts of puzzles, particularly big cubes (7x7, 9x9) and the master pyraminx (4 layers tall). I'm currently trying to learn the PLL algorithms to speed up my slow 3x3 time, which I am currently use beginners method for slow times. Other than solving cubes casually, I am in a robotics team, and I program Java, JavaScript, and Python.

And yes, as you can tell by my username, I binge watch J perm videos on a daily basis. The tutorials are the best out there, and he makes great budget cube reviews.
I'm not trying to be a J perm knockoff with my username, it just is that watching quick H-perms are satisfying to witness :D

New year's resolution: get sub-30 in 3x3
Current 3x3 time: 1:06

I have the following cubes in my collection (in order of aquiring):
-a Void cube (like a 3x3 with parity)
-a Rubik's 3x3 (turns sluggish, impossible to tighten/loosen tensions)
-a Rubik's 4x4 (an absolute waste of $20)
-a YuXin 5x5 (AWESOME! This is one of the best budget 5x5s out there)
-a YuXin square-1 (Still need to learn that annoying parity alg.)
-a master pyraminx
-a "55 cube" 7x7 (Great turning)
-a Mirror block cube (I highly reccomend this 3x3 shape mod)
-a megaminx

Welcome to the forums @H perm. Master Pyraminx is one of my favorite events as well. Best of luck with your goals. Getting sub 30 is pretty easy with some practice, so you should have that soon.

Welcome! you will find getting sub-30 pretty easy; I got sub-30 in about 2-3 months. The 20's were a long slog but I finally got to a 17 second average as of today. Have fun and remain enthusiastic about cubing!

Welcome!

What robotics "league" are you in? FRC, VEX?
