Believe it or not I do use OLL/PLL but actually I think I will post an example solve. Through video or what other way?
alg.cubing.net is also a good option.

Speaking of which, your F2L steps seem to take rather long. Perhaps this is an issue of inefficient block building, but I'll wait for the example solve(s) before giving you further advice.

How do you guys do your EO? I use [U, u, R] and do it two edges at a time. kind of like 3-2-3 for edge pairing. slice, insert bad edge, slice back. any other way to do this?

i use {RLUF} & sometimes D to preserve pairs.

i have some mad sweet EO tricks for canceling moves and preserving stuff. i'll make a video

How do I build my blocks more efficiently? I have started to make pairs and focus on the 2x2x3 as one step like in roux but any tips?

i made a video of walkthroughs a while back

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rn1aYlpTynw

it's mostly a joke for one person in particular (u kno who u r), but i think it actually contains some valuable tips. just pause the video and follow along the scrambles and moves I typed out.

What should I aim for for my 2x2x3 and eo, separately. Also, should I do Eo with algs, or intuition?

i'd say anything <12 htm is a good 3x2x2 block, if it's ergonomic. And ~7 moves for EO, but that is highly variant on the number of bad edges.

basically, after enough practice, you should be able to get to an EO3x2x2 in fewer moves with Petrus than with ZZ. that should be your goal.

What does EO stand for?

'edge orientation'. basically putting the cube into a state than can be solved with RUL and no rotations. it's legit; highly recommend

I started using petrus a day ago, and average 23, and 16 with CFOP. Is this decent? I do my 2x2x3 with cross/F2L pairs (I know, bad) but I cant seem to wrap my head around finding the pieces for the 2x2x3. Also, is Petrus like Roux and ZZ where Full CN is not needed? because I am full CN with Petrus and get the same times as normal. Also what is considered fast with Petrus? Sorry for the large amount of questions.

the cool part about petrus is that you can pick certain 2x2x2 >> 3x2x2 paths based on your color neutrality

i, for example, usually only ever solve in an x2/y2/z2 from my ZZ orientation (White-green).

that means i can start with ANY 2x2x2 block

but then i have to put the White/Yellow side facing down

and then i have to expand to a 3x2x2 in a Blue/Green direction

if you are more color neutral, then you have more freedom. But more freedom hurts EO detection and piece-finding skillz. i recommend at least picking 2 opposite colors to always have on D in ur blocks.

but do whatever

also i'd say 15 seconds is fast with petrus. but if u avg 16 with cfop, that probably translates to an equivalent time of like 18.273 seconds.

and don't do 3/4 cross + 2 pairs. then there's no point to using petrus.

- I use <L,U,R,F> like mDiPalma. I for 2 edges, I do 2 at a time (duh!), for 4 edges, I either do 2 at a time or I use some tricks to orient all edges simultaneously (ex.: M U' M'), and for 6 edges, I do 4 edges and 2 edges and vice versa. So what mDiPalma does.
- 2x2x3: Don't just do 2x2x2 then 2x2x3 - find other methods. EO: Doesn't matter. I use a mix of both, but you be fine with either or.

For me in the 2x2x2 stage, I find completed pair(s). Then I find the remaining edges, and see which one is easiest to join with the pair to form the block. Of course, I try to look ahead to the next 2x2x3 pieces, which I usually end up semi-CFOPing just to reduce some thinking time :p . But that's the general idea...

- It's pretty normal for your Petrus times to lag behind your times on other methods, especially if you tend to carry on the conventional CFOP F2L pairing techniques into your solves (ruining efficiency). But if you practice more, you're bound to get your Petrus times down to a more feasible range.
- I'm a white cross/first step solver, and I'm at 17-ish seconds. But at least opposite color CN makes things a whole lot easier, at least.

So like in my solve When I do last layer I do R' D R D R' D2 R until I get into a u perm ( or h or z etc) position and then I finish , any way I can for this faster? As well as placing the corners faster? Thanks!

do LL on U.

niklas and sune are good enough for solving the corners, if u really want to segregate the LL like that.

eventually you can learn COLL which combines that step into one. check the wiki entry for COLL.

you can also learn OLL/PLL, which has less algs than COLL/EPLL, for Petrus at least.
