I don't think anyone's ever practiced with Petrus-W, so I doubt there's any good singles.

I did an Ao5 with it:

Generated By csTimer on 2020-08-16
avg of 5: 18.80

Time List:
1. 19.07 D' B' D' R L D2 F' D' B R2 D2 R2 D2 B2 R2 B' R2 B L2 R'
2. 18.87 U' R2 B2 U' R L B R' F' D2 F D2 F2 L2 B' D2 F' R2 F' L'
3. (17.94) F2 U B2 D' L2 D' F2 R2 U' F2 L2 R2 F' R U2 L R2 D L U F'
4. (19.99) U2 R' D2 R2 F2 R U2 R B2 R U2 R2 D' B2 L2 U R B R' U2 F'
5. 18.46 R2 B2 F2 D B2 L2 D2 U R2 U R2 B2 L' D B' D' R F2 U2 F' U'

I'm kinda rusty with ZZ-EO and for L5EP I just insert DF and do PLL, I could probably get sub-15 with a little practice and some alg learning. I'd guess that the 17.94 would be WB with Petrus-W because I don't think many timed solves have been done with the method

I'll do an ao12 soon. I never really did much with it
1. 28.82 U F2 R2 D F2 D' R2 U B2 D2 F L F2 U' R2 F U2 L B'
2. (26.51) F' U2 L2 D2 B2 F' R2 B' D2 L' U F2 L B' U' F D B' U2
3. (36.38) F R U' F B U' R' F' L2 U2 B2 R2 F' U2 B R2 B D F
4. 27.33 B2 R2 B2 D' F2 D B2 L2 D2 U' F U' R D' B' F2 R D2 B2 R2
5. 29.42 U2 L2 F2 L B2 L D2 R' B2 U2 F2 L D' L B L' B2 L2 F U2
I know these are bad times, but they're actually quite good for another method. This is actually probably my second-best method
Sometimes, I would see a free pair and make a square before EO. Sometimes I would just solve all of F2L before EO. I like playing around with weird tricks, so I guess this isn't really "pure" Petrus-W.

I invented WaterPetrus, but i don't know if it's good

1) 2x2x2

2) EO

3) F2L-1

4) Add last corner

5) CMLL

6) L7E

is this too long?
firstly, EO in the middle of the solve is very bad for lookahead (unless you're doing Petrus EO and you can't here), F2L-1 and last corner is fine, CMLL, CMLL will disrupt EO and the M slice so that will never work, and lastly, L7E, algorithmic L7E, you mean WaterRoux L7E? that's going to be a bunch of algs I bet.

149 for advanced l7e

I could just not do eo, it would be less Petrus and more WaterRoux
Not to be rude or anything but your method is worse Freefop and WaterRoux, firstly, 2x2x2, that's a fine step, F2L-1 we know freefop also does that but more freely, now the solved DF and DB edges are useless cause CMLL destroys M and U layer edges and L7E destroys those too.

Hello everyone!!!
I would like to know, how many people are there in Speedsolving who are users of the Petrus Method?
If so, what prompted you to use Petrus?
I believe that the Petrus Method is a method that has potential, is efficient and a method created in an intelligent way.
Do you think the same?
I await your answers, greetings to all.

Around 2 active I believe, 1 semi active, and a lot more inactive.
I just thought since no one else was using it it would be unique to try it out and give myself a bit more of a challenge rather than going with CFOP or such. Petrus definitely has potential, but at the moment I just use it for fun.

Solo pensé que, dado que nadie más lo estaba usando, sería único probarlo y darme un poco más de desafío en lugar de ir con CFOP o algo así. Petrus definitivamente tiene potencial, pero por el momento solo lo uso para divertirme.

petrus is the most fun speedsolving method for me.I also progressed the quickest with it. I think it is only marginally worse than the other big 3 and still viable for top level (atleast sub 6) ((yah I know based)) but can probably not do consistent sub 5 like I think the other three can theoretically.
right now im focusing on nautilus though and am averaging 16ish with it.

Like you, I also think that Petrus is one of the funniest methods for quick resolution. The only problem I find with it is that there are very few Petrus users. Even so, I consider it to be a method with great potential to compete. Perhaps in the hands of a very fast person, who practices it constantly, it can reach a sub 8 or perhaps a stable sub 7.
Furthermore, Petrus is an effective method for FMC, as is Heise.
About the Nautilus Method, I had no idea of its existence, but I will look for more information.

Hi everyone! for the past few days i have been exploring the petrus method and wanted to know what are the world best single, ao5, ao12, and ao100 and who is the fastest petrus user who mains petrus or used to main petrus since on the List of Unoffical World Records it only says what the best single is, the only videos i have seen from people using the method is from Tao Yu which shows the method being able to get times under 9 seconds / sub 9. i really appreciate it if someone answers and if they can link me some of their videos if they have some!
