Thanks for the tips. The r at the end of the SB (rather than the R) was really helpful. I need to get into the habit of doing that consistently. However, is doing a cube rotation instead of the last L in the FB really faster? That is something I have never experimented with. I have actually never done a cube rotation during a Roux or ZZ solve. Petrus I cube-rotate a lot but that is because I am bad with Petrus. And for CFOP, only if the PLL perm requires it.

i never really do Ys but X's are pretty common

you know what, I think im done with roux. I cant get sub-30 with it except for the occasional extremely lucky solve. I practice and I practice, about 7 hours a day, which is about 500 solves, and i still do not improve...

Thats a shame:(

One thing that I've found that was really helpful was a video I saw by Alex Lau where he talked about plateaus and how to get going again (as well as some other stuff).
Basically he talked about understanding the method and knowing what you need to improve. For Roux he said to focus on one step at a time, FB, SB, CMLL, EO, and LSE, and to work on each step for about a week and get it as good as possible.

Another thing is if you are practicing for that long you brain may be getting tired and is not taking in anything new you might have learned from each solve. Of course it is still possible that Roux just doesn't work for you and another method could be better.

The last point here is probably the most important, I would suggest learning another method or two for fun, like columns or Petrus. The advantage of doing this is you learn new tricks, you get to solve without moves being done on autopilot, and I'd also say its less frustrating.

The most consistent way I've broken plateaus is to forget about them, try something fresh such as a different cube or method, and just solve until I feel I've gotten comfortable, then try a few solves. You'll either improve, and break them, or if you don't you'll definitely have a better idea how to get better.

pretty good untimed solve:)

You could finish your FB with Rw B', but that's only one move saved not too important.
I would avoid S moves. Rw2 U' M U R2 would be better, or if the DR edge is oriented, [F B'] R2 [F' B] is fast too.

Other than that, nice solve, looks good. Movecount is very good given the long CMLL.

I did the Ls instead of the wide R so I could preserve both of the pairs. I thought the one extra move would be worth it
Thanks, the S is the only thing I could think of. Roux's getting easier:-)

Yeah, I've learned quite a few methods, and I've just gotten a new cube (a YuXin), and the only methods I have gotten sub-30 averages with are my method, and CFOP. I do know many methods, and tried to apply it to Roux, and I've just never gotten it down. Thanks for putting up with my idiotic mistakes in the past, and trying to help me get further. I really do appreciate the thoughts.
