You don't need 2 look OLL just simpler algs and only PLLS you need are J and Y perm
You need to learn LSE stat, it takes way longer to place bottom edges and use ELL then a EPLL than to do it intuitively like all Rouxers do, it's not completely intuitive but there are like Mini Algorithms. Check Donovan tutorial for Corners and Waffo's Website for LSE (Last Six Edges)
EDIT: You're probably bad at Block - building as well, it's natural for starting out with Roux coming from a method like CFOP
let's try to help
Please solve First 2 Blocks on this scramble
U2 D2 B U' B' U' B R B' L U' L2 D' F2 U2 R2 D F2
Yay an example solve! Good idea, Im hyped! But toorange cuber, learn LAST SIX EDGES before worrying about blocks.
Bad habits stick more, he can learn LSE in 2 minutes from Alex Lau's tut if he was impatient like I was, be warned, it's rather high speed for a beginner
I'm pretty sure Ross said this but I think when I was beginning and watching his example solves he was like ok I'm going to insert this is here and *sub solve* Voila!
U2 D2 B U' B' U' B R B' L U' L2 D' F2 U2 R2 D F2
Orange cuber can you please solve First 2 Blocks on this scramble?
No rotations!U' R U y R U R' y' U' L' F2 L R U' R' y2 r2 U' R2 U2 R U' R' U R' U' R2 U' R' U' R U R' U2 R U' R'
I know, I know, I stink. But I'm trying![]()
1. Limit rotations in the solve, how I would solve your block.
y2 x' (I usually hold LD piece on bottom left )
R' u' R u(1x2x2)
U' R U' R' r2 B'
(Left Block is built on left so you don't have to Y2 afterwards)

instead of U' R U' R' r2 B', r2 B r2 B
Thanks GuRoux! It was a reconstruction from a speedsolve c:
See even nubs like myself have a lot to learn

yeah, i think i'm pretty good at bad cases for FB because i only have two starting blocks. it's a gift and a curse.
No problem (even though I basically did nothing). At your level, the best way to improve is to get yourself familiar with the method through practice, tutorials, example solves, and asking questions. Thanks for all the help so far!
