Guess or fact? For me it seems to happen quite often, like 1 in 100. Are there any organized last slot systems that influence permutation instead of orientation? I remember from previous posts someone mentioning using WV for roux, but that would give a pretty bad cmll case. Permutation skip however could be very useful, with 1 in 4 chance of every roux solver's favourite case (2 in 8: skip and FRUR'U'F'). This would also make it easier to learn more algs per case to influence lse.

FRURUF is a diagonal swap, not permuted.

i doubt it's 1 in 100. the centers must be aligned, the two edges have to be perfectly placed and they have to be perfectly orientated. now that i think about it, it might be closer to 1 in 2000.

probability is probably my worse area in math but here's a try:

number of ways FD and BD can be permuted in the LSE: 6*5*6=150
number of ways centers can be aligned: 4
number of ways the edges can be orientated: 2^2=4

150*4*4=2400

1/2400

but if it can be off by M moves, then: 2400/4=600

1/600

if it can be away by 2 moves, then: probably close to 1/100

Nice. For these cases in solves, what do you do? Cmll then lse seems counterproductive, but so is learning oll and pll.

i actually don't pay attention to this usually. you and i should start doing this in the last move of second block. it is easier to influence/predict lse in cmll if the center is already aligned correctly.

I mean take my advice with a grain of salt, but orienting after SB is better imo. Easier to predict EO during CMLL, and essentially effortless.

I usually predict cmll orientation before inserting the last pair, then align centers with last move of insertion, then look at permutation of cmll, execute while making sure that I dont mess up centers and fix them if my alg does mess them up, and watch for the eo case. Overall, my solves are very smooth, but this is due to moy slow turning. Anything over 5 tps and I pause for long periods of time and end up with 16s+ solves.

1/2400 never really happens, and 1 moves away i don't even notice it. i would just regular lse. i don't think my lse would be too much less efficient than the ell algs.

YOUR lse duh. Mine still 4+ s sometimes. My movecount, recognition and looahead are a lot better and I'm getting more 3-3.5, but in 4c I always lock up, and I very frequently watch two seconds being wasted as I try to realign my cube, and watch the timer go from 11s solve to 13s solve. Why is my execution so bad?

you can either make your cube better or slow turn more. i personally do the slow turning because my lookahead is not good enough sometimes.

video is not working for me.

Nothing too important :p

Edit:
And with a 9.28 I am done for the day
R2 U' F2 D2 U' F2 R2 U L2 R2 D' B' R U' F' D L' F' R B' D2

y2 z' D R' U' // L square
x R U2 R2 Rw' F // LF pair
Rw' U' Rw // RB Square
U' M' U2 R U R' // RF pair
U2 F R U R' U' R U R' U' F' // CMLL
M' U' M' U M U' M' // EO
U' M2 U M2 U // UL + UR
M2 U2 M U2 M' // EP

I think that's what I did
