Wow, new PB single: 8.38

Probably the luckiest "full step" solve I have ever had :D

Very nice solution. Although because of blue on bottom hard to follow for me. :)

Nice! have you ever had a sub 30 stm solve? i remember i got a 30 or 31 full step a little back but never under 30.

I don't think I have ever gotten sub 30 stm -- at least, not from what I can remember. This is probably my most efficient speedsolve ever (and probably my most efficient Roux solve ever since I don't really do Roux FMC). Pretty crazy for it to be full step, too (such easy steps lol).

oh, because i thought you were going to do the three move FB solution with red on bottom, then i saw you did the no B or F move thing again.

Yet another habit I should probably break. Or maybe I should just do L' more often rather than x rotations. F and B moves are pretty awkward for me.

speaking of neutrality, i switched to only solving white first blocks with any color on bottom. what would you call that, x neutral? also, i avoid L moves like the plague.

that was my main reason for choosing roux, i used zz beforehand and i really didn't like the L moves. move count too.

Hey guys

Now I'm averaging around 30 sec with CFOP but I'm really BORED!!!!
I'm thinking about switching to Roux, can you convinse me to switch to Roux?
I've also a question, for CMLL, can you also learn COLL (because that's better for FMC..)
or is COLL less efficient?

Thanks in advance :)

I'm not going to try to convince you, but definitely learn it and practise it and see which you prefer. Other people can't decide which method is best for you.
You can use COLL for Roux, but it is less efficient. However, COLL is more useful than CMLL because of its use in other methods. If you want to switch to Roux then learn CMLL, but if it's just something you'll only do occasionally then learn COLL instead.

You can learn COLL but most learn CMLL because its optimised but in the end most learn both, I use mostly COLL because I use ZZ for OH and use the same algs.
CFOP gets boring after a while.
I can't really convince you but something tells me you already made a decision.
I can offer you Pi, Bowties, and sexy M slice finger tricks if you join though. Try waffo's method overview.
I avged about a minute with CFOP and changed in August BAM I avg around low 20s now because I felt more motivated to practise when learning the new method.

COLL will be slightly worse than CMLL, not that significant though. roux on average has 7 less move than cfop, no cube rotations, less algorithms, and is mainly right hand based.
