[Help Thread] ZBLL Discussion and Help

I'm going to be finishing up the U set today. I already know full t set also, so here's my question: what should I learn/do next? I could practice recognition until I get decent at it, learn the L, pi, or H set next. Also, I could learn something completely different like ollcp or zbls. Also, do you guys think zbls could be worth it for cfop? Any input will be appreciated.

I would practice Recog but I would start on the pi/h Set as the recog for these sets is different

3. Mmmmm, I don't know how to describe it! I look for blocks of matching stickers, and I memorised the unique pattern to each case.
I know what you mean, but I think it won't help my with my OLLCPs/ROLL haha. Maybe if I will be learning 1LLL  so I think I won't do that.

so ZB method requires EO. right now I use very inefficient semi intuitive EO using general cube knowledge on the last F2L slot.
I need to be able to do this better to get sub 9.
another option is Felik's Zemdegs(es) video on intuitively keeping EO for OH. and there is ZBLS
So what do you guys think is the fastest way to do EO for ZB?
I don't really want to learn ZBLS because its another "look" making it a 2LLL. but I will if it is faster.
so what do you guys think?

if you dont know VHLS learn it

go through the ZBLS cases and find intuitive ways to do the pair and EO efficiently using a combination of pairing while flipping edges and using different insertions (VHLS)

learn the algs for harder cases

Hypothetically, it's the same amount of looks as doing the LS once you get good enough, but the thing that sucks about ZBLS is like, ugh, it sucks having to learn so many algs, and some cases are dumb.

However, ZBLS has some pretty sick cases too, so I think if you had beautiful wonderful elegant ZBLS algs, it'd be a great method.

Does anybody have a better alg for H 5? all the ones on algdb are trash
.

LOL I'VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR YEARS, I GAVE UP A LONG TIME AGO, THIS ONE SUCKS.
If someone has a magical case, please share it.

idk if its good but this is what i wud learn

R2 U R' U R D R' U2 L' U R U' L D' R2

2 D's 2 L's

using brackets
(R2 U) R' U R (D) R' U2 (L') U R U' (L) D' R2

btw this is with the matching corners to the left

I really like this for 2H, I can do it nearly as fast as my normal COLL alg for that case.

F r U2 R' U' R U' r2 U' r F' r' U F2 r was the best new one I could find after a day of searching

T31
x' M' U2 M U R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R' U' R U R' F' U
so x' M' U2 M U Tperm U
I found it one day, but I wasn't that much into ZBLL, so I never checked it, I couldn't find it so I post it.
It must be lined up like that
Was it known before? I'm quite sure it was..

I think some people use this:
[x' M' U': T perm]
Yours seems to have a longer setup, but a shorter ending.

ouch, my works in one auf, in which it is much better, so I guess it's just nice mirror then
e: also better fingertricks in mine I guess
