basically instead of memorizng algs for each case you memorize for case pi -4 you do this OLL a U' and then a t perm, so its still 1ll but without memorizing algs for each specific case.... am i making sense?

do you mean cancelling into PLLs after OLL?

an example would be having a T OLL 6 move case and having a Y Perm afterwards. if you know that you'll have a Y Perm after finishing the OLL alg you can just cancel into it as F R U R' U' R U' R' U' R U R' F' R U R' U' R' F R F'

That's still inferior because you'd still have to do recognition. That's also a ton of work for all the possible cases.

If you're going to do that much effort, you could just learn the ZBLL/1LLL, because the memorising the recognition and all that is like, 60% of the way there already.

Just learn the other ones then decide if you want to do S/As. Your main focus now should be to learn the first 5 subsets as fast and as well as possible

About learning the sets. Do you think it would be efficient to learn them by doing the 2GLL cases then the ZZLL cases (for said OCLL), or learn all the cases for a specific COLL?
