I’m kind of interested.
I personally use the Yau method.

You can be CN with Yau on 5x5 right?I experimented for a while with yau but I really didn't like having to chose from 2 centers to start with, so I stuck with redux.
Technically yes, but at that point, you not only have to be color neutral on both 3x3 and on 4x4, which is more trouble than its worth, kind of like being CN on megaYou can be CN with Yau on 5x5 right?
Feliks is CN on 3x3, x2y on 4x4 and CN on 5x5 afaikTechnically yes, but at that point, you not only have to be color neutral on both 3x3 and on 4x4, which is more trouble than its worth, kind of like being CN on mega
That's not what x2 y means.Max park is x2y(white yellow green blue
-"max, do you know antoine cantin?"nope, feliks is fully CN on 4x4, he did all cross colours in his youtube videos, Max park is x2y(white yellow green blue, he confirmed it himself here:)
i use Yau5, as i use it on 4x4 so transitions are easier and you don't have to rotate during edges, which I like
Just letting you guys know that Yau and Yau5 are two different things. This is Yau5. You solve 2 F2L pairs before pairing all the edges, which is different from normal Yau, so make sure you know which one you’re talking about.I use Yau5 because I don’t like Hoya or Redux and use CFOP. ;/
No, it's because I used Yau on 4x4 and I just couldn't be bothered using anything different. To all of those that use yau: is it because of jayden mcneill's video? I know that's why i use yau lol
i normally try to solve any f2l pairs I can after first 4 edges, but if I can't, then I just put a top layer edge in another slot, then do l4eJust letting you guys know that Yau and Yau5 are two different things. Yeah I agree, because it makes edge pairing harder and the benefits of easy 3x3 stage isn't even that good, because 3x3 stage is already rlly easy and making it easier isn't worth making edge pairing worse.in my opinion yau 5 isnt as good as yau
on 4x4 no, but on 5x5 yes, because it gives you scaffolding for L4e by solving the pairs and being productive between freeslice stage and l4ein my opinion yau 5 isnt as good as yau
I disagree, because it makes freeslicing much trickier, which is what most high-level solvers do.on 4x4 no, but on 5x5 yes, because it gives you scaffolding for L4e by solving the pairs and being productive between freeslice stage and l4e
