Stackmat vs Keyboard

So I am wondering on people's opinions on Stackmat vs Keyboard(to time solves). In your answer state which one you prefer and why. (I personally prefer the keyboard because it is the easiest to keep track of times)

Stackmats are better for practise as they prevent any more than the sloppiness which is allowed in comp. If you can connect your stackmat to you computer and use something like cstimer, then any real reason to use keyboard is virtually eliminated.

I prefer stackmat solving as it is more like competition solving, and you can work on bad timer starts and stops. I also get more consistent with stackmat somehow as I get low 9s but with keyboard I get low 8s and high 10s.

i prefer stackmat because it makes me take the solve more seriously which can make the solve faster

i get what you mean when ever id get a pb on keyboard i always feel it doesnt count

I prefer stackmat as well because it gives a more realistic view of your times

Stackmat isn't good to use in the office. I tried it for few days and I had to stop because stopping the timer involves throwing a cube at my desk which is very loud and bothers other people in the office.

I use stackmat and type my results into CStimer as I don't have the cable to attach the stackmat to my computer

I use my cellphone but place it close to me (where you would put a stackmat) and use 2 hand touch. Can't afford a stackmat at the moment.
