First off, I think by -1,0/4,1/-4,-1/4,1,/-3,0/ you mean 0,-1/4,1/-4,-1/4,1,/-3,0/ right?
Yes, sorry about that, I'm not used to using Sq-1 notation.
Well if you want, you could try the advanced method for cubeshape. In my opinion, it's not much harder than the beginner method for cubeshape. I learned it from here by David Woner:

I also have a tutorial that I made on CubingWorld for Advanced Cubeshape:

Thanks, this helped a lot!
For Edge Orientation, try this alg: 1,0/3,0/3,0/-1,-1/-2,1/-3,0/ . It preserves Corner Permutation so you can look ahead into the next step.
What your alg for the R-Perm? I never really heard of using the R-Perm for PLL. Also, your description kinda made it sound like you cram both Corner Permutation and Edge Permutation in one step.
I have two R-perms, both are double layer. One is a Z-perm on one layer and an R-perm on the other, and the other is a double R-perm. The Algs. are: 1,0/3,0/-3,0/3,0/-3,0/ that's the R and Z, the double R is: -1,0/-3,0/-3,-3/-3,0/.
I use these two algs for CP, and then I use the three EP algs I know to finish. So I use two seperate steps for corner and edge perms.
There are some vital EP's everyone Square-1 solver should know: (M2 just means 1,0/-1,-1/0,1)
Opp-opp: M2 U2 M2
CwU-CwU: 1,0/5,-1/-3,0/1,1/-3,0/
CcwU-CcwU: 1,0/3,0/-1,-1/3,0/-5,1/
There are much more I can't think of right on the top of my head.
Thanks, These are really helpful.
And finally, what's your parity alg? Let me know if you have any questions
/3,0/1,-4,/4,2/-3,0/6,0/-4,0/-2,0/-4,-2/2,1,/3,3/ and then for orientation I use -1,0/-5,1/-3,0/
The 6,0/ in the middle isn't neccisary, but I do it because it makes the orientation way easier.
Thanks for all the help! Hopefully I can get sub minute soon!
