I am also x2/y2 color neutral. I tried to learn x2/y, but gave up after a while. So much work with so little benefits... I can improve my times with lookahead much easier.

I think if you try to switch from CFOP, x2/y is very easy and many people will probably do it from the start. If you try to switch from x2/y2, it's not going to be easy. CFOP users have to be y-axis neutral for F2L, so they shouldn't find it hard to be it for Roux too. Except for blocks, it only really affects UL/UR, and that isn't too bad.I am also x2/y2 color neutral. I tried to learn x2/y, but gave up after a while. So much work with so little benefits... Yeah, that was badly worded. And yeah, I think everyone would y-axis neutral with CFOP if that was a thingI think there is no such thing as y-color neutrality in CFOP. I mean, is there anybody, beginner or pro, who is not y-neutral?
what does that do to your CMLL and LSE?
nice solve. sometimes lse is kind of brutal, i don't see anything. don't do x' U2 x, just B2. everything else looks pretty good. One of my best single times ever, and good tps for me!
10.87
F2 U2 L2 B2 L2 U R2 U F2 L2 B' U' R' F2 D2 F2 L2 U' B R2
y' z L Uw' // LF Square
x' U2 x // LB Pair
U' R2' U' R U R' U' Rw U Rw' // RF Square
U R' U' R // RB Pair
U' F R U R' U' F' // CMLL
U' M' U M' U M U' M // EO
U M' U2 M U' M2 U' // UR+UL
M' U2 M2 U2 M // EP
44 STM / 10.87 = 4.05 tps
Despite this being good for me, the LSE was pretty poor. Any tips/alternate solutions for LSE here?
Thanks

How do you guys do double flick U moves along with M moves in LSE? Stuff like M2' U2. I have a habit of doing M' M' with the right ring and U U or U' U' with the index finger twice. I am trying to learn to do the index+middle doubleflick for U2 and U2', yet it is hard for me after M moves since the M moves bring my fingers down and in a bad position to doubleflick. Thanks.

You should do U2 and M2 with opposite hands most people do M2 with left, and U2 with right. I do M2 with Right, U2 with left. It's hard to be fast with one hand on M2 U2.
I agree. Doing U and M with different hands makes it lot easier and more fluent. I do M moves with my left hand in most of the time, while I do U turns with my right hand.
For example, M2 U2 is:
1) M2 double flick with left pinky and ring finger (sounds hard, but after some practice it becomes really fast),
2) U2 double flick with right index plus middle finger.
Or:
1) Push UB sticker to DF with left ring finger (similar to an (L Lw' M') combo, but fluently),
2) U2 double flick with right hand.
EDIT:
Someone does M2 double flick with ring and middle finger, but I find U2 moves hard after it.
And of course you can swap hands; many Rouxers use right hand for M moves and left hand for U moves. Sometimes I use right index finger for a single M move (and U move with right middle finger, if I need an (M U) for example).
If I do M moves with my right hand, should I be able to do all U moves with my left? (For example, I always perform U with my right index). And I have tried the ring + middle M2 doubleflick, but I find it hard to do U2 doubleflicks afterward since my left hand is forced downward
I have also seen people do M2' as M' M' with the ring fingers of both hands, yet I still have trouble doing U2 after that.

Hmm, this question is kind of hard to describe, but lately, I've noticed that sometimes when I do my first block, I notice a corner/edge from my second block forms, so I store it in a free slot on the LB while I get the last pair, the when I insert the last pair of my LB, it pushes the stored block into a nice position for the second block. Do you guys ever do anything like that?
i think unless the pair is already stored in the wrong slot, you should put it in the correct slot right away. Instead of using moves to insert it wrong, insert it right.
