The idea of a competition sounds cool. But what about people like me who don't know full CMLL? Could this perhaps be used as incentive to learn all algs?

I think it would certainly be a good way to drill CMLL algs. Maybe if we had like 3 algs a week? That would get us through all the CMLL in about 3 months.

I'm wondering though, maybe some people have their own CMLL alg for a particular case that they like better, so they might not want to practice the listed algorithm. I wouldn't mind organizing it, but we'll see what GuRoux and Renslay think about the idea first.

It would be a lot like this TPS Race competition, but CMLL specific algs.

Go ahead and create one. If not for CMLL, then create one for LSE/Blocks :)

I still use the old school m-slice alg. :)

Me too.

EDIT:

yeah, you beat me, haha. You should try the UB/UF 2 flip alg that I posted though. I think you could do it faster than the m slice one that you use. It's really fast.

Actually, Solving 4a intuitively gives me a better transition to 4b. Sorry for the late reply. I don't know how I missed this post of yours.

For the first vid. I noticed that you had slightly long pauses for CMLL recog and transition from 4b->4c of LSE. Your blocks were pretty smooth especially the first block, but as soon as you finished F2B, CMLL stopped you dead in your tracks.

thanks. I've always been fascinated about how people like lau can have no pauses there. I guess I'm gonna do more SB to CMLL transition.
