[Help Thread] Roux Discussion and Help

Not counting this as Roux PB because the fastest solve was CFOP, but the other solves were Roux:
Best average of 5: 10.44
9-13 - 9.79 (9.66) (12.13) 10.90 10.64

Also, here's a nice scramble that you can plan the F2B in inspection:

Welcome back. In Spain we have a saying that goes something like this: "it is wise to rectify". I have not been involved in whatever issue happened in this forum that made you think about not coming back but I for one am glad you are back.

but seriously, welcome back! (you really didnt do much to be ashamed of anyway) but im glad to hear about your improvement! im really hoping to qualify as a "fast roux user" by the canadian open (i would need to be sub 13 to take that title, right? im almost there anyway).

so about that stalder method for 4x4 which somebody shared here yesterday: ehhhhhhhh, im not impressed. using comms to pair up the edge without actually solving the edges is kindof a waste of moves.

IDK I was sorta paranoid. Good to be back. Thank you! How fast are you? sub 20 is plenty fast man. Meyer where its at! I'm sub 1:30 and i haven't done a 4x4 solve in over a month cuz i broke a center piece on my Aosu and still haven't got around to fixing it or getting a replacement part...

EDIT: noooo im the devil! 666 posts! lol

i was rather proud when i reached that number.... i took a screen shot and everything :x....

im like 13.5 globally. 4x4 is a pretty fun puzzle... only if you direct solve though.

EDIT: are you going to the spring open?

Also, I'm going to a competition in a couple of weeks, but my progress has been ridiculously slow. I've been battling to sub-20 for weeks (months?)
I can get a sub 19 session average one day and then get a 20.xx average the next. It just feels kinda inconsistent. But, I have noticed that I'm better after I've done a few untimed solves earlier in the day or just before hand, and if I am in a not freezing cold room.

that actually seems kind of basic, bro. he even could have got a simmilar result by bringing the orange piece down with a M U2 M instead of M' U2 M.

and guroux, thats not exactly whats happening. this is the last solve of alex's walkthrough video
